Animals B Gone

We had squirrels in two separate attics. The quote was detailed and explained the work thoroughly. The attics were decontaminated and the entire roof line sealed. In a difficult area of the second attic, Animals B Gone came out several times to address the challenging situation. They did a great at the best competitive price.

I have had no problems since they came over. They were professional, courteous, honest, and gave me a thorough report of everything they had done. I got more than my money's worth.

I heard squirrels in my attic, and even saw them entering via a hole behind my gutter. So I checked Angie's list and found Animals B Gone. They offered to come out just one day later after my work - at 6pm - and I accepted. They called back the planned day to apologize that they had accidentally overbooked themselves, so they asked if we could change my appointment to the following day. I agreed. At the agreed upon hour, they arrived, looked around in the attic and easily found the hole. They measured the outside of my two-story house and gave me a price based on the perimeter (the distance they'd have to seal) and the extra openings they'd have to cover. I agreed to the price they quoted. They came to my house while I was at work, sealed all the holes in my roof line, and added a one-way valve to let any resident squirrels out. They came back about two weeks later (again, I was not home) and removed the valve and sealed the hole. A few days later, while I was home, my attic was visited and sprayed with disinfectant (I could smell it). I've had no squirrel sounds since then. Excellent job.

We found out that we had flying squirrels and roof rats in our attic - ughh. I am a very thorough researcher and took one full day to have five different animal control companies come and assess the problem and give me an estimate. Animals B'Gone blew the competition away with their professionalism and thoroughness. They took a full hour to get up on the roof, in the attic and in the eaves to measure and take pictures. They were able to show me exactly the evidence of the critters and how they were getting in our house. But what was more amazing was that they pointed out some areas on our roof - having nothing to do with this issue that they would take care of while they were up there. For example, the paint on the metal at the top of our chimney was peeling so they offered to paint it for no additional cost. Wow. They were extremely courteous about taking their shoes off when in the house - putting them on in the attic and off again when walking in the living areas. It was an easy decision to decide to go with them to trap and "seal" the house. Their price was fair and they far exceeded expectations. Most companies will guarantee their work for a couple of years and then you must pay per year to continue that guarantee but Animals B'Gone guarantees for life with no maintenance fees. They showed up when they said they would and responded quickly to requests for them to come out to check traps. Lastly, they cleaned up our eaves area as well as the attic - pulling out the items that I asked them to dispose of and vacuuming and sanitizing. I think that this company really cares and I don't often think that. I would highly recommend Animals B'Gone. They are an example of how any company should treat customers no matter what business they are in. Excellent experience with a nightmare of a problem.

See comments above. First rate job overall. They critter proofed the house, sealing up the "construction gap" as well as installing gutter guards at the same time. While we haven't had any indication of unwanted guests in the attic, but time will tell. In the unlikely event that we have some overly industrious and inventive rodents that do get in, I am confident that ABG will take care of the problem.

They came out to seal our house against rodent exclusions, and we had the gutters on the front of the house replaced. All materials were painted to match house trim. It was clear from the pictures taken and explanation from the foreman, on exactly where the problem areas were and what needed to be addressed. The gutter work was done on a separate day, one guy came out and had the job done in a few hours. The new gutters were seamless, and really increased the appeal to the look of the house. They did a great job. They kept the pests out from the openings and gutters in the house. I spent about $3,500 on the job. They were professional. They came out and explained everything. They were on time and got the job done. I will use them again if required.

Shane was professional, courteous, and timely. He and his crew did the exclusion work on the exterior. They also patched the hole in the sheetrock. When Shane and other workers came inside, they always took off their boots (we really appreciated their not tracking mud and dirt into the house). When they returned to check the traps, they didn't find anything, so they apparently plugged up all the holes. We have not heard animal noises in the attic, walls, and basement for weeks! It's wonderful to have our home quiet again.

They seemed to do a good job. I don't know if they're gone for the long term, but they are gone for the short term. They showed up on time. The people were curtious.

This team was terrific. Sean gave me the estimate and they started the next week. Everyone was very respectful of my space - they entered the attic through an upstairs window so I had the least amount of disruption. I would definitely recommend Animals Be Gone to anyone who has a problem.

If there is a problem or question, they do not fail to respond immediately and give the best service I have EVER seen! After the problem of roof rats was found, DAVID DINSMORE had a team out to make sure they would never get in from the roof again. When I called to tell them, it could also be a problem around the foundation of the house, they came out and thoroughly checked every inch. KENNETH BOONE made sure that his crew put extra flashing garage doors, etc.. and even had them put cement on either side of my front door to make sure the dirt did not touch my cedar siding for protection against termites. I cannot espress to you how IMPRESSED I am with Animals B Gone....In fact, I hired them to replace 37 year old insulation in my basement...didn't know they did this service . Will submit another soon.Professionals? Oh,YES...I would be more than happy to let them share my name and number with anyone interested . I could never give any company any HIGHER recommendation THAN THIS ONE to Animals B. Gone.

We had a neighborhood epidemic of roof rats and sqirrels moving from teh attics of protected houses to unprotected houses. Animals B' Gone was very responsive and had the protective shiellding installed within 2 days of our call. They ultimately provided the service to half the homes in the neighborhood. We are going on 3 years since the installation and have not experienced any further issues with the critters.

Animals B Gone came and sealed my attic. He set 3 rat traps and 1 squirrel trap. He came back twice for checking on my fascia boards to see if any holes chewed by animals. We are lucky, there is no animal shows after the attic was sealed. Animals B Gone has done a good job.

The entire experience was excellent. If you are looking at companies that cost less, please keep reading for a minute. I placed a call on the weekend and left a msg, just so I would get a response first thing mon. To my surprise, Shane called me back (on sat) just a few hours later. We set up an appoint for mon (for him) to look at the house (I had squirrels running around in my attic). He arrvd exactly on time, got details from me and we walked around the attic and exterior. He then sat down and explained the entire process and the options I had. I chose to seal the perimeter of my roof line with mesh gutter guards, which solved the squirrel problem and gutter problem at the same time (I had been considering gutter guards anyways). They also sealed any other concievable entrance the squirrels might have, i.e. roof fans, soffit angels, etc. They then install a "escape door" for them to get out, if any are left. They return in a week or so to remove it and see how you are doing. I also had a cage trap I put up there but have not caught anything since they left (I did prior). The whole process is guaranteed for the life of the house -and- it transfers with the house! If you ever have a problem...its free. These guys are alittle more expensive, but I called around and no-one else is as thorough or guaranties it like they do. I just wanted to do this -one- time! Call Shane...he's great.

Animals B Gone sealed he entire exterior of our house, fixed chew holes and put out traps in the attic and behind knee walls. They did an excellent job and we feel much better now that we know our house is sealed. Thank you very much.

I HIGHLY recommend Animals B Gone. It was a great experience. You can trust this company. The initial phone call was handled professionally. We scheduled an inspection for the next day. Dave and his assistant arrived promptly for the inspection. Upon seeing the attic and crawl space, the diagnosis of roof rats was made. Since I did not want to kill the rats in a snap trap, Dave agreed to set live traps (after verifying with the company's owner that live traps could be used for roof rats). We made a follow-up appointment for the following week so that all possible entry points into the house could be sealed and the traps could be set. The sealing of the house takes several hours, however, I did not have to be home for this part. The crew arrived while I was at work. They offered to clean all the exterior windows as long as I provided paper towels and window cleaner, which I was happy to do :). Dave called my cell when they were wrapping up so that I could meet them at the house. I arrived home, was given the opportunity to inspect the work performed, then Dave baited and set the traps. Later that night I heard a trap spring, and called Dave (who had been kind enough to leave his cell #). We arranged for him to come back out to the house the next day to release the rat. The next day Dave arrived promptly and we set the roof rat free at a location of my choosing. Dave re-baited and reset the trap, I went to work. When I came home I peeked in the attic and discovered trapped rat #2. I called Dave again, he agreed to come out. Repeat for rat #3. Dave was outstanding. Professional, friendly, patient. He ended up making 6 visits to my home, the last visit was to remove the traps and spray disinfectant in the attic and crawl space. Although some people thought it was strange to want to live trap a rat and then set it free, Dave was understanding and accommodating. The price is steep - I received a discount for being a member of Angie's List. Otherwise the total would have been $2000. I was really satisfied with the work that they did. I thought the price was reasonable. They said they were going to come back to finish the job and I didn't know what that time period was before they came back. I called and they responded promptly. I was a little bit surprised by the price, but I didn't have anything to compare it to but I thought it was a little bit high. I went ahead and paid it.

Sean Caruso came out and gave me an estimate of work that included sealing all cracks in the foundation around the crawl space for protection from rats, sealing all open areas on and around the roof for squirrels and installing gutter guards. I had the work for squirrels done, opting to do the foundation sealing another time. Sean was prompt, professional and clearly described the work he was recommending. He took pictures of squirrel damage in the attic and on the roof to show me where the problems were. Since i have a low roof on one side, he was able to demonstrate exactly how the sealing work would be done. He then emailed me a detail report with photos and recommendations, including a work order. Sean and his crew arrived early and promptly began working. It was raining off and on and they worked quickly during the breaks to get things done. The work took about half a day. When completed, Sean took me outside to show what had been done and to see if I had any questions. He said he would return in two to three days to check and remove the traps and the one-way chute. He came back as scheduled and found nothing in the traps. Sean was easy to work with, and made sure that I was informed and all my questions answered.
