All My Sons Moving & Storage

This particular All My Sons franchise location is running a clear scam in Atlanta. They are J's Moving and Storage LLC (DBA All My Sons Moving and Storage of Atlanta). They falsely quote low hours, and then intentionally stall the move to drive hours up to exorbitant prices. We were quoted $450, and expected some changes. But the final amount we were forced to pay was $1,600. They also didn't move over 40 boxes from our home, they charged us for items that weren't used in the move, they were rude, they were aggressive, and they were threatening. Nothing about this move went positively. And this is the case for over 50 moves in the last month alone. I've spoken with three others personally that had the same issues, and BBB has hundreds of public records of bad moves with this franchise. Stay away unless you're willing to part with thousands of dollars for a grossly subpar service.

It didn't go well at all. I reserved this move one month in advance. During my consultation I advised that I needed a morning move due to me having other obligations on my move date. The rep scheduled me for a 8:30 move time. Three days before my move I received a confirmation call and was advised the movers will arrive at 8:30 am. On move date which was March 13, 2021, I had all of the furniture ready for them to move, I even had the queen bed with mattress already moved so they didn't have to move them. At 8:26 am , 4 minutes before the movers were scheduled to arrive, I received a call from Wendall ( I thought he was calling to ask for the gate code to get in ) he went on to say the movers will be late due to some movers calling out. He couldn't give me a time when the movers would arrive. I told Wendall since I am being inconvenience due to no fault of my own that I should be compensated for this inconvenience. Time is money and I am loosing money waiting on them when I reserved this move well in advance and I went to Angies List to find a good reputable mover. Well they showed up 8 hours later. I was only compensated a $50 credit for waiting. What a slap in my face. $50 for waiting 8 hours. Wendall had no empathy, he could careless about me being inconvenienced and waiting 8 hours. You never get a 2nd change to make that 1st impression and I am not impressed with All my sons moving. You really need to remove them from Angies list as they are not reputable at all. I should have been compensated at least 50% of my balance and not $50. Its not about the money it the principle.

All my sons canceled last minute due to over booking, leaving me and my family scrambling for other options. Please check their reviews on other sites. They are apparently known for this pattern of behavior and not honoring booking times or dates

Overall, they were very professional and provided a military discount, which I appreciated. I did have an issue with my recliner sofa as they did not reconnect it. I had to call management, who said they would talk with the three gentleman who moved my furniture and I was finally able to find the cord. Also, they didn't wear masks.

They were quick, organized, well put-together! They kept in contact with me for any changes or adjustments! I was fully informed along the way.

There were four guys that came out. I might as well have had two good guys to work - two of them were just sitting around. I only wanted a two guys. We had already confirmed and deposit down for the two man, but they made me pay for 3-4 guys because their two man teams weren't available. Most of the things were still in the house. We had to hire a different company to take out the things they put in and redo the packing in the pod. They were supposed to start at 2 and didn't start until 2:30.
