Ron Raby Tree Service

Ron spent half a day one day and half the next cutting, trimming, and mulching all the trees and limbs, and his crew left the yard very clean.

I called Mr. Raby and he and his wife came to our home. He immediately noted one tree that needed work and it was not the one I was concerned with. He walked around and inspected most of the property, looking for problems with some of the large trees and collecting various samples of bugs and such. I was most impressed with him, his knowledge, and his willingness to spend so much time talking and viewing the overall situation. He said he would find out just what the bugs were and we could go from there. Unfortunately, I should have picked up on his first comment upon arriving: and quot;You live a long way out.and quot; Because I never heard from him again. I called several times to ask what he came up with and was intent on having him do the work without getting other estimates. I don't know how many messages I left nor e-mails I sent, but never got any response. If it was his conclusion that we were out of his desired work area, I would have no problems with that and even go with who ever he suggested as an alternative. But to ignore a customer altogether is just poor business. I am sorry to have to report this because he impressed me as a very fine individual.

They do a great job and the price is reasonable. It's very convenient for me because they're just across the street. I would use them again in the future.
