Description of Work: Representative was not honest and gave prices services and contract lengths that were incorrect. He arranged everything with my husband however when he came to get everything signed my husband could not be there which the representative was aware of so it was just me. All terms of service were different than what was verbally agreed on between my husband and rep. I had no way to know that it was not the same so I signed the contract with completely different terms. We contacted the rep with no resolution so we contacted the company and advised them of situation. They offered no resolution inly to state those were the terms on the contract you signed. Well technically they were correct however if that were my business I would want my business to be honest at all times under all circumstances. If I knew I had someone representing my business falsely I would not want that to happen and certainly not continue. I guess honesty myst be Old School and apparently out of style. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

Description of Work: Although I went through an agent of this local contractor in 2012, I actually receive services from Guardian Protection Services based in Pennsylvania. After paying about 199.00 down, monthly fees are about 56.00 which includes monitoring online. I have turned my alarm on and off from as far away as Australia! I also have the option to upgrade to video monitoring if I want. Customer service is great! They call at the smallest sign of trouble to check such as a low battery signal and offer to send help. So far, I am pleased with the services.

Description of Work: Installer was in our area and came by to try to sell us a system. We told him we currently use another company. He then proceeded to tell us that the owner of our company had passed away and we might think about switching. We immediately called our alarm company and our owner answered, very much alive. I would not want to deal with a company like this.

Description of Work: They installed an alarm system as well as video surveillance in my business. Now I feel more comfortable when I'm not at the store. What really sold me was the ability to operate my systems from my cell phone. I can also peek in and see live video so I feel like I'm there even when I can't be. I've had one or two minor issues since the installation, but they came back out and fixed the problem the next day. Great people to work with.

Description of Work: The family living next door to me recomended the company that installed their alarm, and gave the installer's name as Dave and said it was best to deal directly with him. ( The salesman who sold them their alarm had Dave come out to advise him and help design the system) I dealt directly with Dave from bid to finish. There was no high pressue selling, he asked me what I thought I needed, recomended a Smoke detector (and installed it at no cost!) so I could save more on my Home Owners Insurance.
