Oneal & Dixon Fence Inc

Not pleased with the quality of work. Did not use 1 bad of concrete for each of the 22 posts as contracted and purchased. Had 9 bags left over after job was done. He said he brought extra concrete with him and didn't use what was on site when asked about it. Cut off tops of posts instead of placing them 2 ft in ground. When asked about it he said the ground was too hard to dig. Began placing pickets using contour of ground and when it took too much work to do that on a slope, he changed to level tops. Filled in gap at bottom of fence with 2 x 4 for about 30 feet. Had around $200 of supplies left over after job was completed which I had to return to the store in 2 trips. Also, did not clean up site after job, just threw the trimmed pieces of 4x4 into the woods next door. Did not offer to pick them up after I pointed it out to him. I guess I will be sure to be present when work is being performed! Lesson learned!!

Mr. O'Neal is the only person that worked on our job so this rating is only for the work done by him. We had approximately 330 feet of fencing installed. Mr. O'Neal ordered the supplies from Home Depot to have delivered (we paid for the supplies). It took him 5 days to complete the fence (that was with 2 days of rain). He would arrive at our house normally before 7am and work until around 6pm or later. The fence is the best workmanship I have seen in a long time. He was very professional at all times. I would definitely reccomend him for any fence jobs you may have.

Mr Oneal was very punctual and was the only contractor to return my phone call. He ordered the material from Home Depot. He ordered yellawood and got some other brand. The delivery person from HD called and said it was yellawood but they labeled it wrong, Mr. Dixon ordered extra wood as he said sometimes you will get some bad boards. After he finished my wife and I were staining the fence and we found numerous boards not nailed. Mr Dixon had left nails so I took my hammer and nailed the boards down. While staining I notice several boards that should not have been used. I did not contact him regarding the boards or the hole the delivery person left in my yard as he was working by himself and had not even taken the time to rest while on the job. His work ethic is outstanding. I just gave him less than stellar because he did not go back and check his work.

Mr. O'neal is very professional, very friendly and did an outstanding job. He showed up on time, provided an in-depth estimate and exceeded our expectations with the speed and quality of the final product. Highly recommended!

Nice guy, but did not do the type of fencing I wanted - aluminum.

He bought the individual pieces and built the fence from scratch which really impressed me. It was an 8 ft high wood fence. Most fences are 6 ft high, but this was 8 ft.
