Holland's Handyman Service

Rude, arrogant and unprofessional. I couldn't even let him know what the issue was without him interrupting and speaking over me. He left without completing the job. I would not recommend this service to anyone even for small repairs. There are plenty of handymen out there that give good customer service!

iWe were pleased with the repairs to the washroom sink cabinet, the outside repairs went good as well, however he told us he would be back to paint the gutter board that was replaced, but needed to get some paint, he ask to be paid and we did and never say the man again,!

They are very careful in their work (as in slow). I thought the price was rather high but I guess you get what you pay for. They also installed a storm door at a later date. Lowes would have charged in the 90 dollar area but Holland's fee was close to $125.00 I was going to install them but I realize after doing the rear door I am too old and too slow.

They were punctual and very professional. They came in and worked all day only taking a short lunch break. They cleaned up their debris and materials as they went along and kept me informed throughout the whole process. The quality of the work is excellent, a lot more than I honestly expected. I will definitely have them come back to do more work for me in the near future.

Holland and crew arrived on time and got right to work replacing the back door, frame, threshold, and three roof vent boot seals. They were completed with all work in just a few hours. The work was professionally done, and all material was cleaned up and removed when they completed. Great job. We are very satisfied, and will use them for all future work.

I was referred to Holland by my realtor and once I contacted him, he always made sure to follow up with me. Holland and his helper arrived on time and got right to work. They installed 10 window shades within 40 minutes, including the time required to trim four of the shades that we found to be too long for the window. I appreciated that hey cleaned up all the packaging and drywall as they went from room to room. After completing the windows, I asked for Holland's opinion on putting in a closet rail system and shoe rack for me. After he found out what I wanted, they went ahead and installed the rail and racks without any hesitation. It was an added bonus for me personally that Holland is retired Army. The price was more than fair and was the least expensive that I found in the area for great service!

Mr. Smith and his two workmen arrived exactly at 9:00 am. They immediately got to work and accomplished quite a bit that first day. I really can't say enough about their workmanship. Each day they arrived on time and worked all day with only time off for lunch. Mr. Smith and the other men were pleasant, polite, thoughtful and very hardworking. They always kept me informed as to how the work was proceeding. They kept things cleaned up and were very concerned about the property. They finished on Friday as they had predicted. They did an EXCELLENT job on everything !!! I not only would, but certainly plan to use Holland Smith again. I have some other jobs for next year. Angie's list is an excellent resource for the community!

We were desperate for a door for security. We called Holland Smith and he came immediately. He had all his tools and was ready to go. He was perfectly knowledgeable. He did one of the slickest jobs I have ever seen a handyman do. He does electrical as well. He keeps his truck spotless and his tools were top of the line. These attributes impressed me as I look for these qualities. A local hardware store recommended him. The price I paid was great as he worked 4 hours to repair the door and frame. He is very smart, articulate and courteous.
