Response from DAN REAGIN LANDSCAPING
We had to take down a large rotten tree that had grown up through the block wall, had to tight it off piece by piece and let it down. When it rained, had to dry off a day or 2. No room to work It rained every other day. No room to park the trailor. Down town Savannah on side streets.. Hand carry out material. Then in taking down the block wall with a 2' walking room, between house and block wall, was slow. Install ing the new block wall was slow when you have rain every 2 days and freezing weather also. You must have the weather to install blocks with cement with a 2' spand to work 8' high. Then the owner came back and add more blocks and brick caps to take more time to install, then we had to stucco wall and stucco mix wall . DON'T FORGET RAIN AND FREEZING WEATHER AND A 2' WORK AREA Get a parking ticking if you were in the wrong place. During this whole process in bad weather it was hard to get the right condions to finish the work. Owner was all ways out of town. We had to confront the man on the other side of the wall. He wanted what he wanted on his side of the wall .When you run a business and you have to stop for bad weather, and you have another job you can do and you start it and the weather gets right for a few days, you must finish the second job be fore you go back to the first job. The owner thought we should sit down and do nothing and be ready to start his job when weather was right again. It took longer than expected on account of bad weather. The owner paid me all my money, He played his con game at the end about adding the brick caps. He was to pay more money to have the brick put on top of wall. More time , more bad weather. It took longer.. Would not want to do any more work for him and his con's. He got alot more for his money. Slow in finishing job, regardless of the bad weather, but we finished. Amen
