He was right on time and I appreciated his coming over on his Saturday afternoon at my convenience. He was personable and prepared to give the estimate and appeared experienced and professional. Price seemed very high compared with another competitor, also on Angie's List. I will most likely not use this company, only because the estimate seemed so high.

We've just started with Rainfall Irrigation Inc. We have only used them once. We'll be signing a contract with them in the spring. The guy came to shut down the system. He explained things to my husband.

Joe (the owner) came by, gave an estimate in less than an hour. He showed up on the day he said they'd come, and everything was installed. Worked perfect.

Pretty much as the last question. It didn't take long and all I needed was to have the water turned off and the system clered. He did that and I was happy.

Two workmen spent several hours troubleshooting and determined that the wiring had corroded over time (the system is 20 years old) due to improper original installation (done by another company). They had to hand dig a trench to lay new wiring. They cleaned up very well. The system is working fine again.

He was a really nice person and he tried to fix the leak but he couldn’t fix it because the leak was underground; in the roots of the trees. He didn’t charge us because he wasn’t able to do the work. I liked him and I wished he could do it but it was more than he could handle. It turned into a need for a tree removal. When he said he would be here, he was here.

I was very pleased with this company and the men in their employee. They exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I found myself in a very difficult situation with a drain problem and they solved it quickly. I hired another company to remove an old flagstone walk and remove an extra 3 1/2 inches of soil so we could lay 2 inches of gravel and 2 inches of granite sand to provide a sturdy foundation for stone pavers. They moved the flagstone, soil, filled the bed with the gravel and the sand, but left the pipe for the french drain above the sand. They told me that when it rained the sand would sift down enough so that the pipe would sink and they could connect the pipe and cover it with some more sand. I knew that didn't sound right. I called three businesses I found in the Yellow Pages; the calls were not returned. Then, I thought of Angie's List and called three businesses that were close and I thought could do the job. The only one that returned my call was Rainfall Irrigation and I was incredibly lucky. There are not enough positive adjectives to express how capable they are and how impressed I am with the work they did for me. When they arrived they examined my problem, advised me on the best way to correct it and were ready to start immediately. They now have a lifelong customer and I'll recommend them highly to everyone.

We had a working but inefficient irrigation system that had been modified by three other contractors over the past 15 years - although the system worked, it was difficult to control, and had older style heads, which wasted a lot of water. When I put the bid out, I asked for either a revision or a replacement of the system, so that I could more efficiently manage my lawn and flower gardens separately. The owner, Joe Terrell, understood my needs perfectly and designed a system that was exactly suited to what we wanted and in fact provided more benefits than we expected (such as an automatic rain sensor). What made this a great bid was two things: Rainfall Irrigation's price for the entire system was approximately what was proposed to me for a smaller system 25 years ago when I lived in New England, and for the scope of the system was only double what other competitors wanted to patch and modify my system again. When Joe and his team came out, they were quietly efficient and other than a 15 minute interruption to hook up the water main, did not disrupt our family or home. This very substantial job was done in two days with only minimal effect on the lawn,and the sod was put back by the work team as they put in the lines and sprinkler heads. A month later the lawn has regrown over the trenched area despite the very hot, dry weather we've had. The company is reputable and secure enough to ask for payment in full at the end of the job; no partial payments or deposits were required even for this very substantial job sum. Mr. Terrell is wonderfully self-effacing; he is greatly engaging with the customer and does not put on airs, but it is clear on the job that he is in charge --- and he is not a stand off owner/manager either; he operated the trencher himself and helped run the pipes - and was integral in the overall design. We couldn't be happier with the work - and while we aren't likely to get a new irrigation system soon, we will certainly use Rainfall Irrigation for our future system maintenance and recommend their services for any installation needs.

The technician was professional and knowledgable. He was on time as well. No "sales pitches" made to "upgrade" our system or perform any "unnecessary" work. I would use this service provider again.

We had a really good experience with them. They came out and looked things over. When they couldn't do exactly what I wanted, they didn't push a different solution on us. They tried to look at it at a different angle, and they came back to give me exactly what I wanted. They offered ideas, but when they couldn't do what I wanted, they didn't push the stipulation. They kept on going.

Joe Terrell and his crew were a joy to watch. They worked hard and smart, causing the minimum of disruption to the lawn and garden during the installation. The results were perfect: ever area is covered, and the sprinklers are not only strong and efficient, but pretty to watch as well (not the dancing waters of Bellagio, but really nice). This fall Joe sent us an e-mail reminding us to prepare the system for winter's cold temperatures, and we are so glad we took his advice. I have recommended Rainfall Irrigation to many neighbors (the folks next door hired him immediately after seeing our completed system in action), and I would do so again without reservation. A great job at a fair price - can't beat that!

I got the best price of three different lawn irrigation companies from Rainfall. But the service and installation were top of the line. The company installed six zones including a drip system for my flowerbeds. They installed throughout the lawn without trenching. I could not tell the system had been installed when they were done. They were on time and on budget. We could not be more satisfied.
