Description of Work: Doug came to my house to give me an estimate on installing wood flooring. I haven't had new flooring put in yet but did recommend him to a very good friend who had his floors refinished. They did an excellent job and exceeded my friend's expectations.

+ -1 moreWe received Doug's name from a neighbor. He came in and gave us an estimate and brought a sample of the wood. He set a date to do the work, and showed up when promised. He did a great job, and when he was done the shine of the new flooring didn't quite match the old. He came right back to fix the problem and it looks great. They were very clean and provided great service.
Description of Work: Doug did the hallway and upstairs installing wood flooring. He had to match the flooring to some existing flooring, and you can't even tell where the old floor ends and the new floor begins. The work looks perfect.

Description of Work: I used Doug Stell Hardwood Floors to replace carpet with bamboo flooring in a bedroom. He disposed of the old carpet.

+ -1 moreHe was very professional. He definitely knows wood floors. He was able to remove a very old stain. He took his time showing me the results of one color of stain verses another by making small patch tests. He was a little pricey, but I was happy with the final results. My floor looks great!
Description of Work: He refinished the hardwood floor in my 600 square foot home office. This included sanding and sealing.
