 + -1 moreHAd to fire them after they repeatedly scammed me by leaving a loose nut on the refrigerant evaporator pipe. Hundreds of dollars, multiple times - tech said a neighbor probably stole the refrigerant. they do poor work and charge a lot for it.

 + -1 moreGreat at first, then progressively worse until I had to fire them. Multiple times after they serviced the central A/C units for several years, one would not blow cold. One time, they told me that someone stole all the refrigerant and charged about $800 (after negotiating) to replace it. e live in an upper middle class neighborhood. It never happened to me before or since and no neighbors every heard of such a thing after I spoke with them. Funny thing that the so-called thief only "stole" refrigerant from one of the two units sitting side by side. I installed locks on the filler connections. The next year, the same unit was empty again. This time it was a loose hex nut holding the low pressure pipe to the indoor evaporator unit. Another $500 after negotiation (showing that I could buy an entire tank of the same refrigerant for $25, delivered, on Amazon with no license required to pump it in. Of course, I was willing to pay for their time and effort, but that was a ridiculous price, considering it was their fault. I made sure that the pressure would hold this time by pumping nitrogen in at 300 PSI and leaving it for three days. This time, after getting ripped off again, I fired them. Hard lessons letting them take me to the cleaners multiple times, but at least I am free of them now.

 + -1 moreIt went fine. We called because our upstairs unit was not cooling the upstairs. We called Dickerson and we had an appt soon after. The technician was prompt. Our unit was low on free-on and a diagnostic showed that the compressor is going bad. The unit is 12 years old. We opted to add the free-on but he also gave us quotes for a new unit. We would definitely use Dickerson's again.
Description of Work: Serviced 1 unit and air conditioners and added free-on into it.

 + -1 moreThe same guy comes out each time which is very nice. They also make sure to wear the booties so they don't track anything in.
Description of Work: They came and changed the filter in our air conditioning in the attic. They also looked at the heat pump in the heater downstairs. They come out twice a year and always call before they show up.
