Never came when promised. Tore up my lawn while mowing it while it was soaked from rain. Ruined my irrigation system and took my diagram of system and never returned it.

I like the owner quite a bit. If I had the time I would have taken them to court.

Prior to the work being performed the business was very responsive to calls and followed up on all questions and requests. I met with the owner on 4/13/2011 to sign the contract and give them a deposit as agreed. The agreement was for the sprinkler system, installation of new sod in the backyard and we agreed that the business would than take over doing all the lawn maintenance on a regular agreed to schedule and prices were also agreed. Prior to starting the work the owner of the business was involved in an accident which put them behind. This was understood. The work was started the week of 4/25/2011 and completed on 4/29/2011. I was told that a final invoice would be sent. Shortly after they left I received a call from the office wanting to know if they could come out and pick up the remainder of the money due and they would e-mail the final invoice. I received the invoice along with the invoice for the first month of lawn service. I sent them an e-mail back stating that I would not pre-pay the lawn service but would pay as we went. When they arrived to pick up the check I told them about the e-mail I sent and explained I would not pay ahead for work not yet completed. They said fine and they would bill me the middle of the month with the payment due by the 5th which we agreed to. The following week there were some items we notice that needed to be done and a small patch of area where they had missed with the sod. I attempted to call and this is where the problems really started. I could not get them to return calls. When finally reached they promised to be out at a certain time and would not show. They were reminded about getting on the schedule for lawn maintenance and were told they would start on 5/4. They did not show and I was able to reach and was told they were running behind since the accident the owner had been in which involved and company truck and trailer and were having to make do. They finally came out on 5/6. Since that time we have attempted to reach the business but they have not returned any calls. On 5/14 an e-mail was received from DeShun Boone who is the owner of the business telling us not to cut the grass since he had treated the front yard and wanted to see what weeds had died since they wanted to be able to treat the yard properly. He further stated that he would be out on the 16th by noon to check the yard. This did not happen nor has the scheduled yard maintenance for Wednesday (5/18) as had been previously agreed. I have e-mailed and phoned, left messages with pleads and no response.

Initially there was good communication, however after phone calls and site visits it didn't progress past promises. They didn't install all the plants promised and have not replaced the ones damaged or dead. I made the huge mistake of paying the balance based on "sincere" promises but nothing has been completed since then. This company was referred to me, but I'm sorry to say I can't refer them to anyone else.
