I bought a house in March 2009 from Beazer Homes in Pooler, GA. They couldn't do enough to make everything perfect....cosmetically.....until the contract was signed. I had an independent appraiser come in before the closing and he had a good report - for what he could see. Since then I have had numerous issues with settling, cracking of cement, etc. today I had painters come in to finally put some color into a few rooms. In just one room every time they touched an electrical box it would short and trip the breaker. This happened 6 times! The boxes had not been tightened down...a real fire issue. I called Beazer ..again..and told them the problem and their reply...again...was and quot;not our problemand quot;. Luckily the painters I hired volunteered to tighten all the boxes in the rooms they are painting. But how many are loose in other rooms? This is just the last of several issues and I guess what needs to be said is BUYER BEWARE!!

We were first-time home builders in 2007, and chose Beazer's Hunt Club development. During the building process, their representatives were with us every step of the way to answer questions, and made us feel important and at home. We were welcome to inspect the site at any time, and three formal inspections were provided with the builder accompanying us. Our home is gorgeous, and we love the location. We did have an issue with the driveway about two years after our home was finished, but Beazer came and gave us a new driveway. There are occasional small issues with our home, just like with any home out there--but we feel like we made a great choice, and would do it again.
