He is also friendly and ready to offer advice on the best way to handle a multitude of plumbing problems. He always gives you options. I would not hesitate to hire him again. TOP NOTCH plumber!
Description of Work: Replaced water heater connections; installed new drain pan with drain line, and thermal expansion tank. Installed new kitchen sink with new pipes. Installed new bathroom faucet, two new shower heads, and new tub fixtures.

 + -1 moreThe price seemed expensive for two hours work, but I agreed to pay it to get the work done. However, after the plumber had left my husband told me that he would have to be the one to secure the lid because the screws had corroded. The plumber said that he could do it, but that he would have to charge more to go to the hardware store for the screws. It would have been $50 more on top of nearly $650. So my 75-year-old husband spent an additional two hours purchasing the screws and working to get the lid secured. I called the plumber and told him what I thought of his actions. He told me that replacing the screws was not part of the job even though the estimate stated "secure basin lid." His excuse was that he did not know the screws were corroded when he gave the estimate. That was his problem, but he made it ours.

 + -1 moreI contacted Duane about a week before service, and an appointment was made. I was having problems with the toilets cutoffs. After waiting almost a week to get the job done I felt pressed, and I am pretty sure Rescue Plumbing knew this. Duane called and quoted me $475 for two toilets shutoff valves and two flow valves. I questioned the price and Duane agreed to $375. At Home Depot the valves costs $10 apiece and the flow valves costs $12 apiece. I was thinking the job was somehow complex but when the service tech callback within 1 ½ hours and said I am done. I realize the job was not complex, I had just been charged $375 for 1 ½ hours of work by Rescue Plumbing, and they wanted $475.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate for which Rescue Plumbing professionally and promptly provided at no charge. We were unable to see the plumbing inside the wall at the time. My handyman husband cut the sheetrock and was able to determine he could fix the problem himself(took him a long time, however :-)) Otherwise, I would have used Rescue Plumbing to do the job.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink was backed up and the stainless steel drain pipe was cracked and leaking just beyond the trap under the sink. I don't weld and so I call Rescue plumbing on Friday and they came to the house Saturday morning. He said he would fix the drain leak for $250.00 and then look into the stoppage. I agreed and he then got a hack saw and cut off the pipe and then with a rubber boot and hose clamps connected it back to the trap piping... $10 worth of parts and 15 minutes of time on a repair that I could have done had I known that is what he was going about doing... and that for $250.00. He did then nicely offered to snake the drain with a small hand snake through the kitchen drain pipe that he had just cut off. It did not fix the stoppage. He then offered to get out the industrial snake but only for another fee of $150.00 and with no guarantee. I paid the $250 bill and sent him away. So after $250.00 paid, I still have a sink that does not work. ACE hardware recommended a bladder contraption for $25 that I tried out and it cleared the drain for me. ACE helped where a "professional" plumber could not and for only $25. What happened to the days when the plumber came to literally fix your problems? This Rescue plumber guy came over for the easy money offering the easy job taking no responsibility and leaving me still without working plumbing.

Description of Work: Removed old garbage disposal and installed customer furnished disposal and re-position new disposal on right side of sink and moved old basket strainer to left side and completely overhauled the plumbing so that the water would drain properly. Result: no leaks and disposal works great. They did an awesome job and even explained what they were doing and why. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

 + -1 moreWhen I called I asked about a Saturday Service Call, if a Saturday would be overtime rates. To my surprise everyday from 9 to 5 is his standard rate not overtime. This allowed us not to have to take off work to meet him during the weekdays. We agreed on 9 am and he was right on time. He arrived and I told him what i needed, he went right to work and even told me how he would repair the leak and what items he would use. Very easy going and easy to talk to, will use again as needed and have already sent him to my mom's house for a problem she had

 + -1 morePer above, the experience was fantastic. Great plumber, great job and great results. I did not search for the receipts from the two visits, but recall is was springish. The cost was quite competitive, but do not know the exact cost.
Description of Work: Replaced faucet in kitchen sink. He was so easy to work with and explained almost everything he did. He gave me options on some of the installation and explained the reasons for each option presented. He made a return visit to fix a leaky faucet. My husband had it was a certain part, which involved taking the shower knob apart. After evaluation Rescue Plumbing determined it was a small rubber washer and that is what he repaired. To this day, the leak has not returned and the charge was minimal compared to what my husband thought was the problem. I HIGHLY recommend Rescue Plumbing and will call them again, if the need should arise.

Description of Work: The service man completed several issues I had with the house after we moved in. He checked the water heater and adjusted the temp and replaced fuses. He also install a back flow device as the line comes off the street and connected the main line to my sprinkler system. When I was out of town, I had a water line blow out at the meter, I called him long distance and he was on site within a half hour had the problem repaired the same morning. I continued on my trip and settled my account when I returned. Very professional in his work and work ethic.

 + 0 moreCalled quickly to make an appointment. Responded via telephone to my e-mail. Called prior to the designated time for the repair to share that he was on the way. Arrived very promptly and set to work. We discussed each of the jobs needing repairs and he explained what he would be doing. He checked the water pressure prior to doing any work, which was a first for a plumber at my house. The plumber was very cordial and shared on one of the jobs that what we thought was the problem, was not and that the repair would be much less costly. That is true professionalism in my book. He worked diligently, chatted and shared experiences. When job was completed, cleared the area of all debris and will be back to do two more jobs in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this gentleman, as he did everything I would expect an outside source to do. If he cannot do the job, he shared that he has many other contractors that he can refer. If you are in need of plumbing, I suggest you , at least, include Rescue Plumbing on your quote list.
Description of Work: Installed kitchen faucet and spray and a new garbage disposal. He furnished a few connecting pieces for the faucet at no charge. The garbage disposal did not make the fit to the drain due to length of the pipe. He charged $25.00 to cut off part of the pipe and make a new pipe to fit the disposal.
