H & R Painting

He was very thorough, on time, and reasonably priced. He cleaned behind himself of all trash from the yard. I would definitely use again.

Frist day repaired the wall and ceiling in back room. Got a paint sample from the bad wall. Put some kind of Kiltz product on the living room ceiling. Returned the following day to paint. Paint was much lighter but it was assumed it would dry the same. He said he could replace the window pane in the little window in the front bedroom so came back a few days later to measure the window. He came without a tape measure and could not see the numbers on mine. He didn't remove the old glass so he would know how thick it was so guessed at the size. I showed him the mismatch on the paint job and told him the living room ceiling looked better before he touched it up (his Kiltz was a darker shade). He dug a place out of the wall in the back room to get a better match on the color of paint. Came back the following Monday with the window that didn't fit and some new paint. The paint was darker than the current shade but told his son to go ahead and paint it even though a test spot he painted dried darker. By this time I was fed up with their painting so went to Lowe's and got the closest match I could on the paint and my granddaughter and I painted . He came back with the window pane 2 weeks later and installed it. At this point I was finished.

Not well. Started with an estimate. Added one minor job, at an agreed upon price. When it came time to pay, the bill was more than what we agreed upon. Started out really quick, worked really hard. However, I made the mistake of paying before the job was complete which meant we didn't see much from any of the crew. He did try to complete it by himself, however, at this time we are doing touch up work, etc. Tries hard, very friendly person, however, would not use again.
