They presented me an estimate with nothing wrong with my foundation, so there was nothing they could do.

They need to reduce their prices if they want business. I think they are fraud and scamming people with their prices. I would not recommend them. The BBB has been contacted.

The estimate was free. The supervisor came out two days before the job was to be done, and he explained what the crew was going to do to make sure water no longer came inside the garage. The crew arrived on time, and they worked until the job was completed. They cleaned up after themselves. It hasn't rained since they've been here, but the job came with a lifetime guarantee.

We talked with three companies to get quotes and all were pretty good. We liked the Trotter offer the the most and especially liked how much time the sales rep took to talk us through all the possibilities. They were able to begin work within a week or two. They showed up on-time and completed all the work in one day. I've checked the crawl space multiple times over the last year and it has remained dry since they installed their system.

Rick was early, and had done his homework. He had been at our house before we moved in. He brought the quote the he gave the previous owners. We knew nothing about this transaction. Rick explained about the cracks in our tile, due to age. There was no pressure. He gave us a quote for the crawlspace, that I thought was very reasonable. I have always heard good comments about Trotter, and I agree. We were very impressed.

Trotter was highly recommended by many people before we scheduled an appointment with them. They did not disappoint. They were highly professional, organized, and knowledgable. Scheduling with them was very straight-forward. The workers were great--efficient, neat, and did very high-quality work. Total pros.

The man that gave the estimate was very professional. However, we realized that the estimated work would only gloss over the actual water problem and would not stop the water from coming in our basement. So we are still looking for a real solution that will stop the water. If we cannot stop the water from entering, we may go back and hire him.

They were excellent. They were timely, fast, and efficient. No water problems now that I have dealt with for years. They did exactly what they said they would do. I would also recommend them in a heartbeat.

Did it once and did it correctly more than 30 years ago! Trotter Company fixed a below-grade concrete wall in our basement that leaked when it rained. No issues or concerns since that time. Thanks Trotter!

We’ve had five or six people come out and they seemed the most knowledgeable about waterproofing. He told me how many years they have been doing it and he explained about water in the soil. He was to the point and he explained in a way that made sense to me. He also gave a money back warranty for the life of the structure. They weren't trying to give me extra things that I didn't need and I wasn't pressured. They came in, did the work, and they cleaned up. I asked them about somebody to come out and inspect for mold. They were able to give me somebody and that guy was good too.

They answered all my questions before and during the installation. I am a person who watches and they didn't mind me being close by the entire time and they answered my questions even during the install. I am very satisfied. I have had no water in my basement since this was done.

After thousands of dollars and a number attempts, Trotter Company appears to have fixed my basement water problem. Final work was completed last year (2013) and I have not had water seeping into the basement. After completion of installing their system. I did have cracks to the external stucco walls, brought about by the jackhammering which they said was possible. I also now have a damp, musty odor in the basement I was told by the field supervisor, Jim Kitchens, that was normal and that I should get a dehumidifier to address the problem. I don?t remember having the problem earlier, but I did purchase and have used it for several months but it doesn?t appear to make a lot of difference.

Extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. Supervisor came out in Jan and provided a free estimate and answered all questions in a business like manner. Various leaks from the basement floor and cinder block wall during heavy rains. Outside had been graded, large gutters installed, and new drainage piping had previously been installed but still have leakage problems. An estimate was also done on a moisture problem at a different home but Trotter made recommendations that I could do to correct the problems and advised that their services weren't needed. (Refreshing honestly from a major company). In Jun we scheduled the work to be done and supervisor Brandon came out 2 weeks prior for a final walk-through and to answer all remaining questions. We're located 60 miles west of Atlanta but Trotter didn't flinch at the distance and all appointments were kept on time. After review Brandon stated that the work could be completed in 1 day vice the original estimate of 2 days. On 17 June the crew arrived on time at 7:00 a.m. sharp and proceeded to setup a clean area to minimize the construction dust and noise. Trotter had a full crew of 7 people all of whom were professional, considerate, helpful and addressed all issues even a couple of surprises that popped up. They jack-hammered the flooring, installed the drainage system and sump pump, ran an exterior drain line and tied it into into our existing drainage system. They completed all work by 2:00 pm and that included a complete walk-through of the system and cleaning out our existing drain lines to insure that their system was working correctly. Brandon could not have been more helpful and he went the extra distance to please. I can't recommend Trotter more strongly. I don't write many reviews but they made this stressful construction a real pleasure and its the least I can do to show my appreciation for their attention to detail, timeliness, and willingness to please. You can't go wrong with this family owned company.

I was very happy with them. They did some installations adjustment in my house that was jeopardized by a previous company. They were honest in telling me that a water heating cannot be done under a warranty. They did what the promised. I did not have any problem with them. They did a good job. Overall, I'll give them an A, and use them in the future. They are good.

We chose them because they had a lot of good reviews. I did not have any problems. They worked with us fairly well on the price.

Trotter was extremely responsive, professional and knowledgeable. They worked with us on the overall design, materials to be used and the schedule for installation. We would definitely recommend Trotter to anyone looking to eliminate water problems on their property!!!

It went fine. Lots of mud. The heavy equipment used damaged the neighbors front lawn because the operator took the shortest route to the trailer. We were reimbursed for the damage. The area seems to drain well and we have had not seepage into the house.

They're awesome. I personally interviewed three or four different people who did that. I had water on my front wall. A heating and air conditioning man told me that it was there. I was very pleased with Trotter. They did a wonderful job. Every time anybody has to go into my crawlspace for anything, I always ask, "How's the basement?" They say it's dry as a bone and I say, "Okay, thanks." They can do more than what they did for me, other things. The price included materials and labor. At the time, the price was comparable. Over the years, we have recommended them to five or six different people that needed different kinds of help.

They were very professional and on time., They had excellent customer service as well. I am sure whatever work they would have done, would have been great based on all the people that I spoke with and their experience. The project went in a different direction and Trotter would have charged more than I wanted to spend. I am sure what they were going to do, would have been worth the money.

They came on time and brought enough people to complete the job as planned. A moisture barrier was installed along with a drainage channel and new sump pump. The system is still in place and working well. When the pump fitting leaking, they repaired it at no cost. Am considering using Trotter to cover and insulate the crawl space which abuts the basement interior wall.

They’re very professional in what they do. The person that came out was fine. I had no problems with them. One of the owners came out. They guaranteed the piers for the life of the structure and I paid about $14,000 to have those put in. It’s done what it’s supposed to do. So they did good work. They’ve been in business since 1929 so they must be doing something right to be in business so long.

Heard they were expensive so when Tommy called to confirm the appointment I asked it is it worth his time to come out if they were going to be too expensive. He said that they have a price assurance program that they would be $100 under any licensed company. initial estimate was $8K b/c it was a monothlethic pour foundation, since I had another estimate from I another company I asked him how much would it cost to 'do what the other company would do'. Later that afternoon, I called him and he said that he took the other company's quote to his manager and the cost to do the same project would be $5K. Then I asked him if that included the 10% off Angies List coupon and he replied, 'um?. yeah' I asked about the price assurance program and he said that Trotter won't match because they do not have the same kind of license as the competitor and even though they are licensed it is not the same. I would recommend getting other estimates before using Trotter. They may do great work, but you should be educated on the alternatives

I can't spend the extra $200.00 and will probably have to walk away from the house now that I don't know how big of an issue this really is and won't be able to asked the seller for a concession without that.

We did not use them, but not because they were deficient in any way. We were very pleased with their representative, their price and their professionalism. We simply chose to do something a little different than they proposed. It was a matter of selecting from two very impressive companies.
