We had called at least a month before our service date, and Donald told us truthfully that he was booked up, so if we decided to use someone who could come out sooner, he wouldn't blame us. Fortunately, ours was not an emergency, so we waited. Boy, was it worth the wait - Donald and his crew were wonderful! They spent a couple of hours going through all the zones and examining each sprinkler head to make sure it was doing what it was supposed to do. In addition to replacing a couple of broken heads, we asked Donald to relocate a couple of others. They took such care digging for the new line and head that your really had to look for any sign that the yard had been disturbed in those areas! They spent extra time making sure there were no muddy boot tracks left on our driveway. We will definitely use them again when needed!

Donald and his team of two came over on time. With no hesitation, immediately set to work and replaced the two sprinkler heads that were damaged. He gave me options on the best coverage for moving the other two sprinkler heads. The job was completed in about 45-minutes and they were gone. When I contacted Sprinkler Solutions last week, they said that they had 60-service calls ahead of me, but they were able to fit me in and get the job done right.

Don and Sissy jumped out of their truck at the appointed time and got right to work. Don first told me the cost of the service call, and the cost for each head needing replacement. He immediately noticed there was a problem (a large wet area in the grass at the base of the driveway) and Sissy began digging in that area while Don checked every zone of the system and flagged inoperable sprinkler heads. For every head that wasn't working correctly, Don showed me why the head was not working properly and discussed with me what he needed to do to make it right. Sissy quickly uncovered a busted zone at the end of the driveway. Once it was uncovered all the accumulated water began surfacing. The sprinklers operated by this zone wouldn't turn off. So, the three of us began searching for the city water supply to my house. After three calls to the county water department, an agent came out and cut the water off (my meter was up the driveway of my next door neighbors house - no wonder we couldn't find it!). With the water finally shut off, Don jumped into the hole Sissy dug and pulled out the old, busted zone. He told me it was too close to the end of the drive and moved it inward away from the driveway. This was a wise move because I believe the zone was busted after delivery trucks, pulling daily into my driveway would haphazardly run over that end of the grass. Too much of this pressure applied to the zone caused it to break. About an hour and fourth minutes after Sorinkler Solutions arrived, the job was complete. Don informed me of their winterization treatment and suggested additional improvements to my system for me to consider. One thing that didn't affect me, but I appreciated was Sissy calling their next customer to tell them they were running late (due to the issue at my house) and why. I am very pleased with Sprinkler Solutionsns, their work and professionalism and I recommend them without reservàtion!

I would certainly recommend this service company. I was with another competitor for ten years and I should have switched long ago. This company's pricing and service are phenomenal, thank you Sprinkler Solutions!!!!!.

Had mowed the yard and ran over a sprinkler head. I went straight to Angie's List to look for some reviews and found Sprinkler Solutions. I called them and he was going to be in my area; he made a special trip to help us out! He even took the time to check the settings of the other heads while here. He will be our Sprinkler Company of choice for all our future needs!!! Very professional, personable, and great priced! Thank you very much for your help Donald!

Don gave me an estimate for both the lawn irrigation and lighting. He made several suggestions that made the process easy and helped me make decisions to complete the project. He also listened to my concerns and followed through to help conserve as much water as possible to cut costs. I felt he and his crew were very professional and efficient. Was also pleased that he gave me the training I needed to be able to operate both the lighting and water systems. They completed both projects and I am pleased with the results.

Called Don because the cold weather was upon us, and my regular provider left me swinging in the wind (see Below). Don understood my concerns, and within 2 hours was at my home. He winterized and inspected my system. Very informative visit, and I now have peace of mind, and Don will be doing my all of my irrigation maintenance in the future. Thank you Don. Appreciate your quick response. The sprinkler company I previously did business with for over 4 years, left me high and dry. Even though I was a loyal customer. It seems I was on the fringe of their operating area, and understand that. Thing is, they could have just let me know they could not winterize my system in the time frame I requested. That would have given me options to seek another provider before the cold weather set in. For this, I am no longer going to be a customer of theirs. Don proved to be reliable, and walked the walk. Mr. Russell was called at 9:00a.m. to schedule a time for him to come by and repair/replace and adjust some of the sprinkler heads that were damaged or not otherwise functioning correctly. He personally answered, took my information and said that he would call back. In less than 10 min. he called and said that it would be 20 mins. before he could be there and would someone be available then. He arrived in less than 20 min., and after being shown the controller, began work. He identified 5 heads in need of replacing and at least twice that many more that needed adjustment in addition to one that not only needed replacement, but needing relocation as well. All during this time he and his assistant were working, he was educating me on the operation of the system and pointed out several heads that would need to be replaced in the near future. We also discussed the expansion of one of the zones to better cover newly planted areas. His advise was to wait until fall for the expansion and replacement of any other heads and also to consider winterizing the system. Mr. Russell was very professional in his dealings and displayed good knowledge of his trade and answered any question that I asked. He was prompt, courteous and priced his work fairly. I plan on having him return within the next 30-60 days to take care of additional work and will surely call on him again for any future needs. It is difficult to find people in the service industry that will take the time to do the job right and explain the process as well so that the consumer understands what is being done and why. If you want quality at a reasonable price, call on Mr. Russell.

He was a true professional who was priced fairly, he also spent time showing us how to properly use the system. He accommodated his visit with our work hours. We will continually use him in the future.

He worked us into his very busy schedule, called before arriving and arrived on time. He was extremely courteous and took the time to show my wife the issues that he found with the system and the options that were available always keeping in mind that we wanted to minimize cost. His work ethic and courtesy are exactly what you want when you hire someone to do a job. I strongly recommend Sprinkler Solutions for all of your irrigation requirements. We will definitely use them for all our requirements!

It was such a nice experience to have irrigation repairs done by Donald and his assistant. I asked him to schedule me as soon as possible because my system had many problems and my plants and yard were suffering. He was able to get here a day earlier than he thought and arrived earlier than scheduled with a courtesy call beforehand. They were knowledgeable, professional, thorough and diligent in finding the problems and correcting them. All of the costs were stated beforehand so there were no surprises. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Good to know how he does business before hiring him and having my yard dug up all summer with no contact and not showing up to do the job. There are many who want to do a good job and show up when they say they will.

It was refreshing to do business with someone who had to deal with some problems not anticipated in the original phone call and did not nickel and dime me to death by adding this on, that on, and running my bill way up beyond the original quote. I'm just not accustomed to that sort of business acumen and I was extremely impressed. Use him! You won't regret it!

I called Donald 3 separate times. Of note, EVERY TIME I called him, **HE** picked up the phone and talked to me. No answering machine and no and quot;front office personneland quot; answers his phone. I had called 2 other businesses, but quickly liked Donald the best. Showed up on time and does very professional work. Additionally, Donald took the time to FULLY EDUCATE me on the system and give me money saving maintenance tips as well. I found his prices to be very competitive. Lastly, after the visit was complete, about 2 weeks later, I was in Home Depot and had a question about sprinklers. Called Donald (who AGAIN picked up the phone himself), told him I was in Home Depot, and he (once again) gave me nothing but friendly advice and (further) education about Sprinkler Systems. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Will DEFINITELY use again!

I sent an email request for service at 3pm on a Sunday and Donald contacted me by phone 10 minutes later. How's that for service!!! He definitely knows everything there is to know about sprinklers. I knew that I had an ancient control panel and was in desperate need of replacing. I also had a few broken sprinkler heads. Gave Donald a budget of $1500 to bring everything up to par and he exceeded my expectations when the bill came in well below that. Him and his lovely assistant ended up moving a majority of my sprinkler head locations as I live on a sloped lot and the previous installer didn't really consider that when he installed the original piping. So in total, I got a brand new controller and at least 16 brand new sprinkler heads installed in less than 5 hours and I was $100 under budget. I will definitely be calling Donald in the future for all my sprinkler issues and referring him to everyone I know!

I contacted Donald Russell about an estimate for my system in July 2013 before I closed on my home. He went by the house and gave me an estimate immediately. He did not know whether we would even get the home but provided professional advice and his personality over the phone was so personable and he had never met me. During the two months before installation I obtained two more estimates and decided to go with Mr. Russell based on the two aforementioned character traits and the great bid price he gave me. Mr. Russell and his team were on the job one week after I accepted his contract and my installation was compete within two days. My husband and I were not very knowledgeable about irrigation systems but Mr. Russell made sure we were educated about the installation process and the operation of the system. Sprinkler Solutions did a great job and we are so happy with the system. My neighbor, who I had not met even came over and said how nice it was. I will definitely be using Mr. Russell for all preventive maintenance on my Rainbird system.

I thought that he was very good. He came out and went into great detail of exactly what he was going to do. We had some questions for him and he answered them. I was really impressed with him. He is one that I would, of course until we use him, we do not know, but I would tell other people to give him a call, even if we do not go with him. I would recommend him.

deMr. Russell was the only sprinkler service provider that bothered to return my email through Angie's List, and he did it the same day I submitted the request for quotes to seven providers. That is a big plus because most service providers don't seem to want business. We arranged for him to come out the first day I could reschedule work commitments. He was on time and courteous. Donald Russell came out to the house where I had uncovered the areas of the sprinkler system that had been cut by previous work done by an electrician for an unrelated service. The previous electrician had accidentally cut the water and low wattage lines for the sprinkler system and could not reconnect them in order to get the system working because the lines were not consistent colors throughout. Donald came with a variety of tools that helped us to locate the sprinkler valves in the yard that I could never find before because my installer did not provide me a diagram showing their location when I had the house built six years previously. During the time of construction I was too tied up with details to walk every phase of installation and by the time I thought about it the sprinkler contract was complete and the sod had been laid. This was a quality installation and I had never had a problem with the system since, thus I wasn't surprised to find the installer had gone out of business by the time I called. Donald used his expert knowledge of practices and realized that the installer likely had spliced in a different color somewhere in the lawn thus he used a variety of tools to locate the valves and reverses in the lines underground over a two hour period. He checked all of my valves then cut the lines and reconnected them though the colors looked similar. He was not satisfied until everything worked correctly. We finally discovered that one of my zone valves likely had a rock that had traveled through the system to keep it on and we disconnected and disassembled the valve to find the rock that Donald predicted was the problem. All of this he did for an exceptionally reasonable price and explaining why he didn't want to add to my costs by doing what others might recommend. I was exceptionally pleased with him and his knowledge, professionalism, and the way he saved me money. I will definitely use him again for annual service and I will recommend him to my entire community because they watch the provider that I use because of the numbers of unreliable providers. Donald is absolutely one of the best providers I've encountered anywhere.

They are very honest and have saved me money in the past. We had another company tells we needed a new sprinkler head, when in reality this other company re-wired everything making it look like we needed a new head. I will only Sprinkler Solution in the future.
