We were very happy with these guys. We brought in a couple of older examples of existing flooring, and with an overnight's worth or research, they had very close matches by the next day. When we made the purchase, they hustled and really put in some effort to accommodate a rather tight deadline we had for installation. The installers were really good at what they did, and we were pleased with their work. A couple of times they had to alter their schedule by a couple of hours, and they communicated promptly and clearly, it was never a problem. Our floors are looking great and these folks were a pleasure to work with.

I walked into the store without any appointment, and they helped me select the carpet and padding type. I appreciated that they did not try to push me into expensive stuff that I didn't need. They suggested something that met my needs and was within my budget. After I selected the carpet type, I scheduled a date for measurements to be taken, which was a couple days later. They let me take home the sample board so that I can review it with my family and select the color later. When they came to my home to take measurements, they were very efficient and gave me information on getting ready for installation as well as the warranty information. I selected the carpet color and returned the carpet sample board to them that day. Within a few days, they e-mailed me a complete detailed written estimate, which included moving all the furniture. My house is fully furnished, so that was a huge relief. I scheduled the installation date for 2 weeks later and paid the first half the payment. The installers worked very very hard and did a great job. It took 2 full days from morning to night. They took great care with our furniture, most of which had to be disassembled and then reassembled when finished, and they were mindful of our little kids. The carpet looks great. The second half of the payment was made after the job was done. Overall, we are very satisfied with their reliability, punctuality, communication, and quality of work, and we will use them again when we are ready to replace our hardwood floors.

Diane was extremely helpful in our carpet selection process. She knew just what we needed for our purposes. She made a call while we were standing there and arranged for our home to be measured the following day. She also set up our installation for several days later which was incredibly fast. She really takes care of her customers and her installers are very responsive to her. When the price ended up being higher than we counted on, because my measurements were lower than what was actually needed, Diane adjusted the price of the carpeting slightly to try and get it closer to what we wanted to spend. Would that ever happen at a big box home store? It is nice when someone works hard to gain your business. The installers arrived exactly when expected. Our staircase was included at half the price Home Depot charges. Moving furniture (and putting it back exactly as they found it), cleanup, and vacuuming were all included in the installation price. I felt the prices were very reasonable for the services. Due to the size of the job, they came back the following day to finish. I requested that they come earlier than they normally would as we had company coming to town that day. They couldn't commit, but the next day they did make it at the earlier time. They brought an extra man so they could get everything finished in time for us to go pick up our company. I really appreciate their accommodation of my request. It feels good when your business is appreciated--when you are not just another job number!

The pattern on the flooring made it look like the floor was buckling. No fault of the installer - just the way it looked in our kitchen. Our Sales Rep. allowed us to choose a new product and only pay for 1/2 installation. They really want happy customers and will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied.

They were very efficient. Did a great job and wonderful at moving furniture. I would definitely use them again.

We have used them several times. They are always willing to negotiate on price.

Installed on two different dates. Sunroom, kitchen, laundry room one day and remainder a different day. Had different installers but both groups were on time and worked all day until the job was done. Very pleased with company, sales person to installers.

Initially experience was strong. Carpet tile installers (not Kemp employees) came on time but took much longer than anticipated. There were obvious seam problems that they said would resolve when the glue dried but never did. They also sold us far too much carpet - had a box and a half extra. We called more than once to get resolution. Eventually they did send the installers back out to fix the problem which now looks good, but they never did answer our very basic question about returning the unused box of carpet tiles. We were reluctant to give them another chance but asked them to bid on flooring for a fixer upper we bought a couple months later. Similar experience with good interaction up front and then total dropping of the ball afterward. Weeks later we're still waiting for a call back on a laminate style that was more our taste. When we went into the store people seemed attentive but as soon as we were out of sight we were clearly out of mind. Keep in mind this is for a $4,000+ flooring job. I cannot understand or explain the other reviews. They have nothing in common with our experience.

Initially we were very pleased with the service. We thought they were very nice and helpful. During the installation of carpet squares, it was apparent there was a dark stain along one of the seams - apparently too much glue. The installers said it would dry clear. The spot never did go away and they sold us way too many carpet squares so we wanted to get that fixed. So far they have ignored both my wife and my call about the matter even though the person who answered the phone said Chris Kemp was in the store. Eventually they sent the installers back to redo the carpet squares but they never did tell us how to return the extra carpet they sold us or whether that was even permitted.

They were fine but their quote was just too high. I found somebody else to do it for less. They were recommended by a friend but their price was too expensive.

Overall it was awesome. The sales people were friendly and helpful from the consultation and measurement. Installation was done by a husband and wife team. They were very professional with a keen eye to detail - high craftsmanship. They came when scheduled, worked quickly and communicated with us well.

They were more expensive, but were awesome to deal with. The main store in Newnan was awesome. Their folk came in higher for the floors that I wanted to have done, but I went with another guy who was recommended. They quoted $5400 for the job. They were great. The woman in the showroom was very knowledgeable of the flooring. When I picked up the sample, I was also considering the carpet & tile. She came out personally to do the measurements for the flooring, even though they have a person to do so. I didn't go with them because of the price and had a personal recommendation for someone else. They were pretty good.

I last used their services in about January. They laid some carpet on the stairs for me. They are reliable. Diane at their job is particularly knowledgeable and helpful in making selections, and they are just easy to work with.

I can't say enough good things about this business. Dianne Gammel was so patient, helpful and accommodating. She did not try to rush me and offered a lot of great suggestions. The guy that came out to measure was on time and very knowledgeable. Wayne and his son Tim were our installers and WOW they were great. It was very obvious they knew what they were doing, they were very careful with my furniture and sooooo neat, they cleaned up after themselves every step of they way. They were friendly and professional and did a quality job!!. It's only been a few days but I'm really enjoying my new floor. Oh yeah...the price was great too!!Thanks Dianne, Wayne and Tim!!!

Our 14 year old flooring was in need of replacement and the base floor squeaked badly. I had measurements done by 5 local flooring companies I found on Angie's List. I quickly narrowed the list down to Kemp's Dalton West in Peachtree City in large part because of the professionalism of Dianne Gammell. Dianne was so patient in educating me on the very best engineered hardwood product for my style and budget. The process has been seamless in every way. I will definitely return to Kemp's Dalton West when we replace the carpet on the second floor. And I would highly recommend the installers who were contracted by Kemp's Dalton West, Ronnie Griffin and son, phone 706-675-1157 home, 678-340-8102 cell. My house is full of heavy antique furniture and a parlor grand piano and they moved everything with care. They expertly stapled each board perfectly straight and installed the shoe mold with small gage nails making touch up easy. They were very careful to clean each area before and after the floors were in place. And the best part is that Ronnie took care of every squeaky spot in the base floor. I am so grateful !!!!

They took the fireplace and put stone in it. It looks beautiful. It was expensive but beautiful. It was great, they worked with me. The people that came in to do the actual work were great. Phil an Jamie put everything in, it was a husband and wife team, they were great. They moved the furniture and my husband moved them back. They helped put rugs down any everything. They were really professional, we couldn't have asked for a better job.

I had a good experience with Kemp's Dalton West Carpets. ?I was happy with the selection and quality of the carpet. ? It has been almost a year and the carpet still looks great. ? I would give them an "A" for an overall experience.

The floor looks perfect. He's a really good guy and does great work. I would definitely use his services again if I needed it in the future. I recommend him to anyone else in the area.

NOTE: A DEPOSIT WAS PROVIDED FOR INSTALLATION THEN THE BALANCE WAS PAID UPON COMPLETION OF WORK.

THE GUYS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND CLEAN, OVERALL A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE.
