Trimco Interior

Trimco has shown themselves to be a very unprofessional company, and a shadow of the company they were 15 years ago. Trimco was a very responsive company that helped me tremendously over 15 years ago. One of the two principals are the same, but the business has changed. They built up a LOT of goodwill with me 15 years ago because of their promptness, professionalism, and attention to detail. I was expecting a similar experience in 2021. Sadly, they do not provide the same quality and I am sorry that I hired them. I hired them to install crown moulding on my entire second floor and to caulk and paint. The installation went well enough (needing a few corrections here and there) and I was happy with the job. The quoted price for painting was high, I thought, but they explained that the reason it was so high was because they would have a professional painter come and paint. They ended up caulking and painting it themselves, and they are DEFINITELY NOT painters. I did not notice it before I paid them, but they spilled drops of paint on a couple of pieces of furniture, on my brand new wallpaper, and on several walls. I was not supervising them but obviously they did not use drop clothes and did not check their work area. Unfortunately, I paid them in full before discovering their several errors. Over the next 3-4 months I tried on several occasions to get them to come out and correct the problem. Each time the owner said he would and then each time made excuses for why he hadn't yet (out of the country, family member sick, etc.). I counted on their professionalism because I expect them to be the same as they were 15 years earlier and have the same attention to detail and work ethic. I was wrong. The total cost of the job was $4550, but I will have to spend at least $1000 to correct their errors.
