Alex came out to give us an estimate same day I called about a tree removal and some tree trimming. They were the most reasonably priced and great with communication which is huge for me. They got the job done efficiently and as discussed. Very easy to work with and would highly recommend!

This is our second time working with Dean and his crew with several properties. Crew is professional hard working and efficient (rare nowadays).

Excellent!! I called and spoke with Alex. He came out the following day punctually. Their price was the most reasonable and affordable compared to many quotes i received from other companies. They were very careful to not do damage to my lawn. I did expect there to be some damage due to large branches falling but there were none that I can visibly tell. I would definitely use them again in the future.

During hurricane ian a huge pine tree fell on our house and blew through the roof. Expert Tree Trim was the first company to show up to our house and I didn’t even have to call him. Dean told me he would be out the following morning to get the tree off our house and he showed up on time, removed the tree off our roof in a speedy yet careful manner, and even tarped the roof for us. The quality of care is unreal when it comes to expert tree trim. If you have any tree removal needs expert tree trim is the only company to use!

The job was generally well done - but not perfect. They cut up an area of my new lawn with their cat (and since they didn't repair this I took some photos and arranged to have it repaired myself) and also a couple of large trees/sections did not fall away from the property line or were not moved away. None of these were big issues so I paid in full as the work was done. I would rate them as A- and would use them again and recommend them to others. This ended my original review and the project as far as I was concerned. However, about a week later the company sales representative unexpectedly turned up at my house. Immediately he was aggressive in attitude claiming that the damage was trivial (it had been repaired by then) and denying that any issues existed. His attitude got worse and unfortunately became outright rude and totally unprofessional. This could easily have changed my opinion of this company and their rating. However, the actions of one person on one day do not necessarily define a company which, based on the original work and other reviews I've seen, is a professional group who perform quality work.

came out, gave estimate - hired them and when the crew came out (after them rescheduling because their chipper was broken) they said they couldn't/wouldn't do the job, that they needed a crane that was $1000 more. They never even tried to call me back. Hired another company - did the job with 3 guys, no crane in a few hours.

Excellent! Nothing else was disturbed and the tree itself was completely removed. The cut was nice and low to the ground. as well. Very happy with the results. It's important to note that I had previously used Timberline some years ago on a much larger job at this same property and was not satisfied at all. I did not remember that when I reached out to them for this work, but they remembered and reminded me. They had an excellent attitude about it and wanted to demonstrate their customer service and good results. They absolutely did that. Very happy with the whole episode; recommended and would hire again.

Timberline Expert Tree were wonderful and first rate. They did an amazing job from start to finish! I had 2 large oak trees very close to my house that I was afraid would eventually fall on it and needed to come down. Large branches had already fallen a few times in the past and caused some damage. I called around for quotes to a few companies and received fair to mediocre responses and pricing. Many tree companies did not even bother to call me back. Dean with Timberline Expert Tree Service not only called me back, he also came out to my house within a couple of hours, gave me a written estimate and arranged to have a whole crew, chipper and truck out to my house within a few days and all are very knowledgeable about the proper way to trim and remove trees! Once onsite, we again walked the perimeter and tagged the trees that needed to be removed. Lots of safety gear and very good communication between the crew members. Dean himself also came by to make sure I was satisfied at all times with the job and crew. When everything was completed, they did and amazing job cleaning up all debris and I had some wonderful wood chips for my garden as well. Absolute professionals here and they know their trees!! Would definitely recommend Dean and Timberline Expert Tree Service to anyone that needed their services and would definitely use them again!

The service they provided was excellent.

Went extremely well. One oak tree was scary close to my detached garage with chain link fence close by, it took some time to take down. One tree was at a fence and they took it down without a hitch. The other two was close to other structures and they took care of those without a hitch. I also had 3 stumps ground. The crew was very professional, friendly, and safety conscious. The cost was very reasonable considering the amount work that had to be done.

I have used Dean and Timberline for many years on my home, rental properties and a commercial building I own. I was initially provided his contact info by a friend and the first quote we had was substantially less than other suppliers. That job went well so I elected to use Timberline again for a variety of small jobs at home and my rental properties. In 2017 I had a major project at my home that involved removing 6 oak trees that were 50ft+ and this needed the power shut down to the road and the police to coordinate a street closure. All of this was project management was performed by Timberline and executed flawlessly. In addition to tree removal i have used his on-staff arborist to help justify some dangerous tree removal. I recommend Timberline without hesitation.

Of course nothing ever happens during business hours and I wasn't able to get on the roof or into the attic to assess the damage right away. I started calling emergency tree services and Dean called me back right away. He was really great and offered to come out and take a look to see if it was critical to protect the roof with tarping or not. Luckily we could afford to wait until the next morning. Dean and his crew showed up bright and early and managed a tricky removal, in that the 36" hickory was partially rotted and the limb on my roof was still attached to the tree. They had to pull in a bucket truck and a crane to swing the limbs over the house. They were quick and efficient and Dean was great at helping me navigate my first claim as a brand new homeowner.

Well when it was scheduled an done. However they wer certainly challanged by the recent weather conditions, in trying to schedule the work timely

I received good advice on how to keep an old maple alive for a few more years. They took off the dead branches. They also did a nice job of pruning my front yard trees. Looks great. Only thing I didn't like was that it took a few weeks between the estimate and the work to be done. It wasn't a time sensitive job, though. Once here, they were very efficient. My neighbor had her own tree expert come to look at her trees and told her they did a very good job. They were happy to leave me with a good sized pile of wood chips which I've used to mulch my gardens.

Dean did an excellent job. He was punctual, cut the trees without any damage, cleaned all debris, and ground the stumps.

When we called and the owner Dean called us back quickly and scheduled him to come for an estimate right then. He came and explained everything and what they would do and gave us the estimate right then which was a really good price from what we had heard from others. They had all the equipment to do everything needed the crew was very thorough in cleaning up and making it look like they hadn't even been there we were very impressed. Thinking some would be difficult to cut down but again we were impressed as they took them down. I would and am going to recommend them to family and friends that need any tree removal and anyone here on Angie's List. They did an excellent job.

Dean and his crew did an excellent job. Dean came out about two weeks ago and walked the property and we discussed the options for removing the trees and disposition of the logs and limbs. He provided a written estimate and contract and he stuck to it. When Dean and his crew arrived, they got right to work and started removing the low limbs from the large trees. The crew used a large bucket truck to get to the limbs at the top. I was truly amazed at how skillfully they were able to cut and drop the trees. They cleaned up all the limbs and debris. The smaller limbs were mulched and left for me. As we had agreed earlier, the large logs were moved to my neighbor's yard across the street. Dean was recommended to me by a friend and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone.

Doug was responsive when I called and he was the first one to be able to come out after the tree fell. We played a bit of phone tag trying to figure out when his crew would actually start. I know I had to call him to find out the actual date. Only part of the tree had broken off and he recommended taking the whole tree down based on how it split. Once it was scheduled, his crew showed up on time and it was amazing how quickly they were able to take the tree down. They cleaned up and left no branches, leaves or anything. He also was able to recommend someone to grind down the stump as that was not included in his service.
