This company was awesome!! They showed up with 4 people who were pleasant, hard working, and never complained. We thought we had packed up everything before they got there and it would be an easy move... but we forgot so many things!!!! They didn’t miss a beat. Jumped in, grabbed boxes, wrapped pictures, all with a smile. We had 16 years worth of things! Can’t say enough about the wonderful job those guys did!! Highly recommend!

It was the most unprofessional move we have had, and we have move 18 times in 3 countries. The things offered by Benjamin David are FALSE. They do not follow the contract. If people think that they will fulfill your expectations, sorry they won't!. They present to you a very professional truck picture, and they send to your house a trailer pulled by a Ford 150 or like vehicle. Not even the trailer is marked Southeast van lines. The trailer was not big enough for the household goods, therefore they sent the remaining goods one week after. The driver was a very rude person and at delivery time they asked for $450 extra, or he was stopping the delivery. We had to give the money because the stress of the move was high enough by that time. We packed all things at home , except the furniture. The Southeast van lines people wrap the furniture the day of the move, and 90% of the pieces of furniture that they wrapped arrived, dented, scratches or broken. Benjamin David said to us from the beginning: do not pay for insurance, if something happen, we will reimburse you. FALSE!. We requested that a professional company should look at the damaged furniture. It never happen, Southeast Van Lines hired a "third party company" named MOVING CLAIMS [another company full of clowns] to evaluate the damages, and after 120 days, and dozens of pictures sent, etc, that third party company suggested to Southeast Van Lines to pay us $50.00 YES FIFTY DOLLARS, to cover the damages. We will never accept that ridiculous offer. If any person is looking for moving and hiring Southeast Van Lines, you should never hire them. We feel that we wasted our money, our patience and the confidence that we had in that funny, mock up, unprofessional entity named Southeast Van Lines. We rated "F" but it won't have merits even for an "F".

Do not use this company. Ben came to home in mask weeks ago to give estimate. On day of move, 4 movers showed up. 3 had no masks on nor in truck. Lead guy Oliver had mask that kept falling off. I asked about adhering to safety during covid-19 but they repeatedly said they don't wear masks while working. Oliver called Ben who told me that I don't get to tell his people how to work and if I didn't like it, he would cancel job. I accepted. Called 3 other companies who assured me their movers are masked and gloved during in house move. Will be using them. Ben and his team are rude and unprofessional.

Guys were good (except they forgot a closet which necessitated extra time). Very helpful guys. However, I was quite shocked that the price was almost double the estimate. I really didn't think that was legal. If the estimate had been was it turned out to be I would have considered other movers.

It was an excellent move. We are former military and have been through multiple moves. This was as good as can be. We were given a firm and fair estimate which alleviated some of the concern about surprises at the final destination. The crew is professional and very kind and respectful. I recommend this company without reservation.

I'm so happy I went with Southeast, and I'm real pleased with the excellent job they did. I moved from one house to another, no more than five blocks away. Benjamin came out to do the initial inspection and came back with a very competitive quote. On moving day, a full team showed up, all friendly and ready to work. They wrapped and moved everything very carefully, and even though I had a packed house-full of belongings, they were done delivering everything while there was still sun in the sky! When I saw things that needed to go into another room in the new house, they did so happily and quickly. All I provided was water, snacks, and well-deserved tips for everyone at the end of the day. I'd recommend Southeast to anyone, any time.

We needed to move 31 years of furniture, yard tools, riding mower and other accumulation from GA to KY. We received a firm quote from day one and had frequent communication with Ronka and Ben regarding what to expect and how the project would be handled. We lived on a sharp curve, steep driveway on a very busy road. Eli and his team had to load a smaller truck, go around the corner and unload to a larger truck...multiple times. All the while, being polite, having good work ethic and never getting testy or complaining. At the new house, the driveway was freshly poured so it could not be driven on or parked on. The yard hadn't been sodded either. Four large trucks had to be unloaded and the weather didn't cooperate. There was a deluge of rain. The mud was horrible. The guys tried to keep everything from getting soiled and I know I couldn't have done as well. In all of these challenges we only had a single item broken, for which we were quickly reimbursed. We got a number of quotes for cheaper moves, but the reviews were suspiciously written and probably fake. ONLY go with a mover who gives a firm quote and will stand by their work. I hope to never need to move again, but would recommend Southeast Van Lines to anyone. So pleased! A great team!

Showed up on time, finished early and under budget. Crew were very nice and efficient. No damage to items and they helped with break down and install of large furniture items. A+ all the way. Highly recommend for intown move.

I used Southeast Van Lines to move from GA to OK. When the truck was packed in GA, the guys did a great job. I was packed on a Wednesday and expected the truck to arrive in OK Saturday. It arrived 10pm Saturday night after I was told it would arrive between 5 & 7pm. When the driver did arrive, I heard just a bunch of excuses about traffic etc.... As soon as he walked into my new home, he was asking for a 'good review'. When you arrive at 10pm with an attitude, your chances of a good review are rather slim. Kenneth continued to be very rude and just throw boxes anywhere and everywhere. He refused to put furniture together and finish the move like he should. I have never been treated so rudely by someone who was still unloading the truck at 2am. When unwrapping my mattress, he cut through the wrap and cut the mattress itself. He borrowed my step ladder putting boxes on high shelves, never returning the ladder. I then had boxes I could not reach to unpack until I bought another ladder. He left in a huff and pretty much just walked out. I would never use this company again or recommend them for any kind of move. There was no professionalism or knowledge of how a move should be handled or organized. He obviously didn't know how to drive the truck or unload it like a professional moving company would.

They are terrific! I am writing this review almost 11 months after Benjamin's crew did the move for us for a reason...we just unpacked! We relocated from Johns Creek to the Detroit, Michigan suburbs for my husband's job. (This is our 7th major move, so we've been through a lot with movers.) Of all our moves, this crew did the best job packing and protecting our furniture and household goods. Benjamin came out and walked through our house (6500 sf house) with me to give us a quote. He was on target for the amount of supplies and the amount of space (a full trailer) that we'd need to move. The price was very reasonable for packing and moving our household to Michigan. There was no hard sell. We got three other quotes (one was less, one more, and one even), but chose SE based on how Benjamin handled all our interactions and what we believed was a good value. From the administrative side, Benjamin and Ronka were seamless. So easy to work with. They scheduled us for a convenient date, met the deadlines, and followed up on everything. ---But what really impresses us with this move is the skill and care of the packers!!! Wow!!!--- I wish I remember names, although I think we had Eli and Fann (or Fawn) in the group. On the MI side, we hadn't purchased yet, so we had the crew unload everything into the basement of the house we leased; from there, a local mover transferred the boxes to the basement of the house we purchased to sit until our renovation was complete. During the reno, things were knocked over and moved countless times and eventually moved upstairs again to unpack. Our boxes and wrapped furniture went through a lot!!! We had a large amount of glassware and barware--the only thing that broke was a tabletop knocked over by ME during the unpacking. I'm in awe of the skill and care they took with our stuff. Furniture was carefully padded and wrapped. Even a glass that didn't get removed from a cabinet didn't break. These dish barrels went through >5 moves!!! For glasses that I asked them to treat with special care, the packing was perfect. In past moves, we've paid to crate a number of items in wood. On this move, we trusted the packers to use boxes and cardboard to "build" protection around large vases, TVs, glass table tops, etc. Given the number of transfers for these boxes, a certain amount of breakage is expected. I wouldn't have placed blame on anyone for broken items, but I know that the careful packers get credit for doing a great job! Thanks to SouthEast Van Lines and Benjamin for taking such good care of our goods!

Don’t use these guys. The helpers acted like they couldn’t understand English. I accidentally left some jewelry in a draw and it was stolen. They open draws and snoop through everything. They couldn’t be honest and notify me about the jewelry. When I remembered it it was too late it was gone. I can’t believe all the good ratings they receive. I thought they would be great. What a mistake. Don’t use them. When I notified someone at the company they acted like I was lying. Believe me I don’t lie about THEFT.

It was seamless. The driver was professional and kept me informed through the entire process.

From the quote process to delivery, these guys were fantastic! I have dealt with movers many, many times in the past - mainly through work. There is always something that comes up - in this case, we ran out of boxes and forgot to package an entire closet full of stuff. Ronka, in the front office, was part customer service and part therapist. She managed to arrange for extra boxes to be delivered and the GM Ben showed up to carry the additional boxes in his private pick-up. Eli & his team of movers were prompt, courteous and made me feel my home was left in good hands. The commitment to go the extra mile is what sets these guys apart. Will definitely use them for all my future moves, private or professional.

This was by far the most relaxing and stress free move I have ever experienced (and I move A LOT)! I am so happy and grateful for the professionalism and efficiency of the movers that helped me, Fawn and Giermo. I have a piano and I was so worried that something would happen to it or that it wouldn't be able to be moved, but they assured me and pulled a miracle, because everything turned out completely fine! They treated my furniture and possessions like they were their own - taking the time to carefully wrap everything and double checking that everything was secure in their van. In addition to that, they were both really nice and had friendly personalities/attitudes. I can't say it enough - I am so thankful to have found a company that provides me with a great service - especially during what has the possibility of being a very stressful time. I will definitely use them the next time that I move!

I had an extremely good experience with this company moving from Atlanta to DC. Both Ben and Ronka are extremely responsive (whereas I had to harass other moving companies to even consider my business and some just never got back to me). The estimate was reasonable and the lead mover, Aaron, was excellent --efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. He handled both sides of the move cheerfully and thoughtfully, even helping me figure out how to arrange things and was willing to try a couple different options for my consideration, which I really appreciated. I had the company do the packing and some of the packers were more careful and skillful than others, so I did end up with two damaged pieces of art (out of about 20 --the others survived just fine). However, Ben was fantastic about taking responsibility for the damage. I would highly recommend them for any moving job and would just advise that if you do have them pack, you supervise the packing of breakables until you have a sense of whether individual packers understand how to pad things appropriately.

The move went very smooth. They showed up on time and quickly got to work. None of my funriture ended up damaged as they took great care to wrap everything up.

I had the best moving experience I've ever had with Southeast! Ben came out to quote us for a fixed price and was professional and friendly. He gave us a very fair price and served as a great point of contact throughout the whole preparation and moving process. The moving crew was punctual, friendly, and helpful, both loading the truck in Atlanta and unloading in DC. They were smiling (even at the end of the move!) and went above and beyond to make the move a smooth and easy process for us. I got quotes from four different companies before making my decision, and I highly recommend Southeast Van Lines!! Thank you again to Ben, Steve, Phon, Aaron, and the crew for a fantastic move!

Overall, very well. On the pick-up side Southeast Van Lines did an excellent job - the movers that came to my house were super efficient, took great care of my belongings, and were very friendly. SVL went out of their way to help me in my move in that I waited until the last minute and then had some changes. They took it in stride and worked with me. On the receiving end there was some miscommunication about the amount that I owed whereas the gentleman who called me told me I owed more than I did because the shuttle and elevator fees were already built into my total price. Also, there was a little confusion about the delivery because they had my goods in the back of the truck, but made me the first stop. In the end everything made it to CA. The only issue was that a three inch seam on my sofa seemed to have split which I am discussing with them now.

Great! The crew showed up right on time, introduced themselves, walked through, explained process, and got right to work. Protected floors and corners, worked efficiently and pleasantly. Very professional.

They were pretty good. They just had one guy that was bad. They did what they said they were going to do in the time they said they were going to do it. Overall it was a pretty good experience. Their prices were competitive. It's not cheap to move.

It was great! Eli and his team called ahead to let me know what time they would arrive and were very professional and courteous. They also worked very efficiently! I recommend using this company for long distance moves. I would definitely use them again!
