Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Rahmel and Robert came out in about an hour after I called to setup service, they were both very professional explained the process every step of the way. Cleared my drain in a timely fashion and recommended preventive maintenance to prevent future back ups. I am even changing my toilet paper to Scott's (septic safe) as well as treating my septic monthly with rid-x per his recommendation. I will use Roto Rooter again for any plumbing issues I have in the future, and I will only request Rahmel and Robert.

Our plumber was David Mospanyuk, we had 2 sinks leaking and he immediately identified a small problem on one sink and told us how to maintain the issue and/or fix ourselves if it happens again after fixing the leak of course. The 2nd leak was major and cleaned out the pipes and completely fixed that leak and again, told us how to better maintain so that we dont have the problem again. While cleaning out another sink that was not leaking, he identified that rust had taken over and replaced the pipe only charging us for the cost of the part and not for the labor. David was very friendly and very detailed and explained everything before he did it to ensure we understood what the scope of work was. I do appreciate a contractor who is knowledgeable and passionate about his work as well.

Wayne did a fantastic job cleaning out our basement drain - he went above and beyond and made sure the water was flowing properly and really cleaned up the area after he finished his work. I would definitely use Wayne again.

Roto Rooter sent out an amazing plumber, Rahmel Willis. He diagnosed my plumbing issue and gave me an awesome price to replace all of my sewer pipe underneath my house. He was patient with me throughout the whole process and explained what he was going to do. The whole process took about a day to complete, they even came out to jet the remaining line so I would not have future issues. He even came back to check on me and his work. He was truly a blessing. I will always call Roto Rooter for any plumbing issues and Rahmel is my plumber.

The staff was professional, they did a great job, running the line 150' from the street, under driveway and through the yard. Yard and sprinkler system was repaired after it was cut it in several places, had to come back again after the original visit to repair one sprinkler lines that was missed. The only issue I had was that they were not on-time and over the weekend they do not provide 24 hour service as stated. I discovered the leak on Saturday, they did not have anyone who could come out on Saturday, Sunday they were supposed to show between 9-12, showed up around 1pm. Only able to get a quote on Sunday, no crews were able to come out until Monday for the actual repair, which was scheduled for 12-2pm. They did not make it until 4:30 pm, the crew was at it until 9:30 pm finishing up by flashlight. I was very happy they stayed with it so late and got my water back on before they left. Follow work was very prompt and on-time, in the long run the warranty and follow work may be worth the extra money I paid for the repair.

I initially requested an early Saturday morning appointment, and unfortunately they were very backed up that day and couldn't get to me during my initial timeframe. But I was kept apprised of the status, and I did have a service call as soon as a plumber was available, and I also indicated I was easily able to wait as it wasn't an emergency. I appreciated the frequent updates and the efforts made to find someone available to take my call. When the plumber arrrived (Rowan), he was quick and professional. It was a straightforward repair done well and quickly. I'm happy with the service and will call the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Perfect! Received constant updates from them regarding my appointment - setup, confirmation, window, estimated time of arrival. Technician arrived and was polite and positive. I appreciated the fact that he put on shoe covers before coming into my home. With me, it's the little things that make a difference. He took the time to assess the situation, discuss what was probably the problem, provided me with a proposed solution and cost and then did the work. I was able to watch what he was doing which reassured me. At one point the water came back up the line and spilt onto the floor. The tech had already put covering down so there was no damage to my floor. He eventually got the line open and flowing. I was pleased with the entire experience.

We've always had great experiences with Roto-Rooter. During the most recent visit Peter fixed our leaky shower. He was fast, friendly and professional. We've used Roto-Rooter on multiple occasions and have always had similar experiences. I would (and have) recommend Roto-Rooter for any plumbing needs.

It went great! The technician was very polite and knowledgeable. He explained that the line actually needed to be replaced as the roots were the problem and pipe is clay.

Fred came out on time was easy to work with and paid special attention to details. I revised the drain length and spacing while there and Fred was fine with changes. No problems.

Kostadin was very pleasant to work with. He explained the problem, gave me the price and fixed it. He cleaned up afterwards. . And , he was very nice to my very inquisitive children. Big plus to me!

Robert Whitten from Roto-Rooter of Atlanta came out and cleaned my storm drains during the middle of a rain storm. It was a very messy job for him but he was very professional and positive during the entire visit. I can't think Roto-Rooter and Robert enough for the job done. I whole hearty recommend them to everyone.

There were 2 technucians from, one was in training. There was a leak in my kitchen which is below the master bedroom toilet area. The technician checked out the problem and told me My toilet had a hairline crack and some rust inside of the toilet. I was charged 400.00+ just to install a toilet. This was a ripped off, but i was desperate to have this toiilet installed. Once again, a female gets ripped off by a contractor. I would never call Rotor rooter again and will not referred this company to anyone.

Plumbing technician was Petar Nikolov and he was very professional. Arrived on time and did an outstanding job. He explained everything that he was doing and went over everything when he completed the job.

I had 2 stopped-up deck drains around my swimming pool. I called the provider on Wednesday morning (3/18) around 8:30 a.m. and was told a serviceman would arrive at my home by 11:00 a.m. and that he would call me at least 30 minutes in advance to give me a "heads-up". At 11:00 a.m. I had not heard from the repairman and I called the company to inquire. I was told they were running late and there was no way they could tell me the time at which the repairmen would arrive. I wasted 2.5 hours waiting on a "no-show" and "no-call" and the lady with whom I spoke expected me to continue to wait for the repairman to get there, even though there was no way she could give me any approximate time. I am tired of dealing with companies who adhere to the belief that their time is much more valuable than mine, and who do not even give courtesy calls to let the customer know that the repairman is not on schedule. When I conveyed my frustration, I was told by her that the lateness was not caused by her and that she was trying to make it right. I asked her how, and she said I would get a 10% discount on the work. First of all i could wait all day for them to show up., and second, I know far too well that when I had not and would not be quoted a price until the serviceman arrived,that the cost of the services would most likely be increased to accommodate any promised discount. Roto Rooter....no more.

Called locale number provided through google app on my phone. My information was taken by thier call center and their dispatcher kept me informed. I was given a time of arrival window when the plumber would be there at my house. The pumber arrived early and was very helpful. He quickly determined my problem and that my problem was outside of my house and most likely the trees had gotten into my sewer line. He pulled out this big machine from his truck after explaining to me the price up front showing me their price book, and he even told me that I could find a coupon on their web site that I could use with this service call "WOW". As he set up his machine the plumber explained everything he was doing and what to expect noise wise. The machine was noisy and the snake could be heard thru my floors but I was told to expect that. After about an hour I heard a boom and water rushing, The plumber came out of my bathroom and told me my sewer was flowing. When he pulled the snake out of my sewer there were roots on the cutting head of the snake. The Technician then told me that he had been in contact with his office and talked with a field supervisor about getting a video camera out to look at my sewer to determine what repairs would be best to remove the roots from my system. I've made an appointment with their field supervisor for this weekend. The plumber didn't stop there, he removed the cutter from his snake and put a larger blade on and ran the snake back down my sewer to remove more of the roots to make my system less likly to back up again, he did give me some bad news and that the roots would grow back and when they come back they would be thicker and more difficult to remove and that the only way to permantly fix the issue was to reseal the pipes against the roots. I did ask how much it would cost for a permanant repair, the plumber told me that the field supervisor was going to provide me with and estimate when he came out with the camera. After the plumber removed his machine he cleaned up my bathroom floors, put my toilet back, and then cleaned my toilet. I gladly paid the price and I even tried to give him a tip but the tech refused, so I'm going to see if his supervisor would give it to him for a job well done. Thank you Roto-Rooter for having a person like that working for you my day has gotten a whole lot better.

I had a broken shower handle so I called Roto-Rooter. I knew they had been around a long time so I felt they must be reputable. I, as well as my renters, could not be more pleased with the experience. The tech they sent out, Ben Evans, was very professional and took the time to explain what needed to be done. In addition, he explained why the problem most likely occurred and how to prevent further problems. As a landlord, I appreciated his patience and professionalism with my renters. I will highly recommend Roto-Rooter, especially Ben, for any plumbing needs.

The technician Jim was excellent . He explained everything and that he was going to have to cut water off to house to make repairs. When he was done he cleaned up everything and left the shower cleaner than it was before he started. I would highly recommend Roto - Rooter this is my second time using them and have been highly satisfied.

As I mentioned above, the service was exceptional and the skill was superb. I was not pleased with the initial service call that was performed by another plumber. I will not review that service call/plumber at this time as I have elevated my experrience with Roto Rooter corporate and am awaiting their response.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience since the plumber showed up completely unprepared to do any kind of work on gas lines despite the fact that I told the company in advance that I had a gas leak. Furthermore, it was a two-man job, but the company sent just the one technician which meant I had to do a lot of the work myself. What's more is the price was very high considering this. However, the one technician was on time and acted professionally.

The work was excellent but the customer service was not that great. They got the job done in one day. The scheduling was easy.

The first response was quick and they were able to send someone out the next day to look at our situation, but we were a little disappointed that the person they sent could not give as an estimate (especially since we told them exactly what the issue was) but we gave them a second shot since they could the right crew out on the following day to and we were still going to be waiting on a third estimate anyway. After meeting with Todd Jones that next day I was please with his responsiveness and people skills. After getting the third estimate Roto-Rooter was the lease expensive. They came the next day and completed the work on time.

The work was completed. I went to inspect the toilet prior to writing my check. I noticed a lump of caulking at the front base of the toilet that extended past the other caulking and was also glob that went higher than the other caulking. I asked if they could fix it to match the rest of the caulking as was told it was filling a hole in the ceramic time. They said that the toilet had grout around the base and when they took the toilet off a piece of tile came with it and you could see right through to the floor. They said they had t leave that lump of caulking there. Since I signed a waiver before the work began, I had no recourse. It was 380.00 but I had a 40.00 coupon from their website taking the total down to 340.00 When I went to use the toilet the water kept running after flushing. I had to call them to come back. They said a plastic piece on the flusher slid out of place causing the continuous water running. They said that happened while the toilet was being moved. A second call could have been prevented if they flushed the toilet after they put it back onto the seal.

Honestly, I was wary of going with the big name in plumbing. But there is a reason they are the big name. Juan came out twice to clear our plumbing lines. He was awesome! He is honest, calm, professional and cleans up after himself! I just trusted him. I trusted everything he said and he acted like he really cared about solving our problems. Then we had our camera inspection. I cannot unsee what I have seen in what used to be my sewer pipes. Again, the camera guy was calm and reassuring. So then they scheduled the serious team -- lots of guys, four trucks, heavy equipment and more! They spent two days at our house. They worked really long days to get the job done in a timely manner. On the second and final day they worked until nearly 10:00 p.m.! Before they left for the evening they put down new grass seed, covered it with straw and cleaned everything up. I was super-impressed with the grass seed part. We had JUST had our lawn seeded when this happened so we were happy about the new seed. We spent $10,000. It was a lot of money. I think they earned it! I don't know if other companies would charge more or less but I really didn't care. Roto Rooter, in our previous encounters with them on this issue, were so professional that they were worth the money and we were not going to waste time getting other estimates. We just wanted it done. There's a reason that silly Roto Rooter song pops into our heads when we have a plumbing problem -- because they are the best, most established, trustworthy plumbers out there.

When attempting my own toilet repair, I discovered the stop valve was leaking. I needed a plumber that evening. Roto-Rooter was there within an hour. David M., the plumber, was courteous and very professional. It was tough-going to get at the valve, but he managed to install the new one. Gave me the option to rebuild or replace the part - in this case replacement was the best option considering the age of the part. Small things that people do say a lot about who they are. I noticed the care he took when laying down his tools on the ceramic tile so it wouldn't crack. Very diligent in everything he did.
