Description of Work: Located and cleared sewer blockage caused by river birch roots. Had to replace a section of the sewer, which required cutting the main water supply to get to the sewer pipe with a backhoe. Sewer cleared, pipes replaced, and debris cleaned up. After one day, the water supply repair failed, but Roto Rooter immediately returned and repaired the pipe (with no further problems). Because my water bill increased substantially, the paid the water bill for that month. Although their price was high, I am pleased with the result and the professionalism of this group.

Description of Work: Two separate issues. #1 - We needed to have the roof vent inspected for a possible blockage. Despite my specific request for this when I made this appointment, the technician arrived completely unaware of the requested service - and lacking the skills and equipment to perform it. If you use this company, be very specific about what you need at time of booking. #2 - We also needed to have a run-on toilet repaired. The technician quoted an outrageous fee of over $200 o repair a simple problem with a toilet. My husband went to the hardware store, bought $10 worth of parts, and fixed it himself.

Description of Work: Had a bad leak at water main into the house. Roto-rooter was very quick, professional. They fixed, and gave quote to replace outside piping. Quote to replace pipe was way high, but other service all excellent.

Description of Work: The job took longer than they indicated for two main reasons: the technician had to make 2 trips to the store; to purchase the replacement pipe because the one he came with did not fit and to purchase an access panel to repair the hole in the wall, which was much bigger than he anticipated. After the repair was completed Eventually the repair technician admitted patching the hole in the wall was outside his expertise so he would have someone return the next day to repair (patch and paint) the hole. I was not happy about this aspect because when the first technician visited to evaluate the problem, I specifically asked whether the technician repairing the pipe would also be able to fix any holes made in the wall to access the pipe whether by installing an access panel or patching the hole including painting (I supplied the paint).The repair technician could have been a bit more mindful of his work area. I say this because it seemed that dirt, dust and material were not confined to as little space as possible. Would I use Roto-Rooter again in the future? Maybe.

 + -1 moreTHEY WARRANTY CLEANED THE SEWER LINE FINE. THEY OFFERED TO CAMERA THE LINE FOR $285 TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. THE CAMERA DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY AND WE COULD HARDLY TELL WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY DID NOT TELL ME WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE LINE. THEY REFUSED TO RUN THE LOCATOR AND MARK WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS. THEY PUSHED FOR REPLACING THE LINE OR REPAIRING THE LINE. THEY QUOTED ME $7,286 TO REPLACE THE SEWER LINE OR $3,410 TO FIX THE LINE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF AND THEY TREATED MY WIFE RUDELY.
Description of Work: PERFORMED WARRANTY WORK TO CLEAN SEWER LINE THAT HAD BEEN CLEANED 5 MONTHS PREVIOUSLY. RAN CAMERA DOWN SEWER LINE TO SEE WHAT PROBLEM WAS.

THEY CALLED AT 10AM AND ADVISED THAT THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY, BUT DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL 12PM. I BELIEVE THE CALL AT 10AM WAS A PACIFIER, WHICH WHEN YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY LIKE WE DID, WAS NOT VERY APPRECIATED. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE HERE AT 12PM; THEN SAY 12PM. TWO HOUR WINDOW IS REALLY PUSHING IN AN EMERGENCY.
