Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

It went well. The plumber was very efficient and cleaned up all the mess. I even messed up the faucet installation a little and he re- fixed it for me.

Things went well. We called Roto Rooter. An answering service told us someone would be there within three hours. At about the two hour mark we got a called saying the guy was detained and gave us a new ETA. Ernest arrived and quickly assessed the situation and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He was courteous and friendly. I would call them again for an emergency. They've got a bunch of people working for them and it seems they can get someone fairly quickly. Also, not afraid to go into high-rise apartments. Thats a plus.

Very good experience overall. Needed immediate service upon arriving home from vacation in the afternoon. Order taker was courteous and able to promise a tech would be there same day. Able to find our previous order with this company and tell me its cost, but was unable to provide an estimate. Technician called as promised when he was on his way. He was professional in conduct and explanations. Only downside was the price, which was 40% higher than it was four years ago.

This was a terrible experience for me. I had Roto Rooter come out and install a garbage disposal thinking I would get the best service money could buy. Instead I found a Plumber who initially gave a price in which I thought was a little steep and cleaned up really badly after he installed the unit by going so far as to get grease all over one of my clean dish towels. Then the unit broke down so I called the office to find out what they can do about it. They stated they cannot honor the warranty because the gentleman who installed it, is no longer working for the company. This was all she wrote for me and I will never use Roto Rooter again.

Roto-Rooter came to the rescue this time and I have to say they are a very professional and punctual company. They came out very fast and took care of the problem for us with ease. The representation of a company such as this one really stands out and the price wasn't bad as well.

They arrived on time and went quickly about their work. It took under a half hour to have them pull up, do the job and pull out. The drain actually drains now and we recommend their services.

The men arrived on time and were respectful. They make quick work of the job and the drainage problem has completely stopped. They did not leave any mess or water to clean up when they left. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

The plumber arrived on time and was very friendly and clean. He was dressed professionally and was sure not to leave any mess behind. The tub has not had any further draining problems since he was here and I recommend their work.

No service performed. Did not keep scheduled appointment. Roto Rooter (Robin) called the following Thursday to "schedule an appointment." When I returned the call, I was asked to hold while she answered someone on a handy-talkie. I told her that we already had an appointment that wasn't kept, and that we wouldn't be doing business with Roto Rooter. She said she was sorry, but their "camera guy was on vacation and they've had a lot of requests for cameras -- It's driving us nuts!" Where in the H*ll do they find these people?

We only had one or two quotes. We chose this company as we had used them before and they did excellent work for us. They did not let us down again. They had someone over to our house within two hours after we called them to unclog the drain. They had the entire job done very quickly. They always have very fair prices for their services. If you need a good plumber, we would highly recommend them to you.

I guess I am satisfied now, more than I was before the project began. I could not wait for it to begin. At least it is done and that is one less worry off of my mind. I cannot actually get under the house to see what it looks like, but, I do not have any sewer problems so I imagine everything is fine. The man was nice and he was great to work with. He worked quickly and was real into his work. I have no problems with the company at all.

I was thrilled with the work that this company did for me. It took them only a few hours to completely rectify a huge problem for me in my front yard. I can not recall what they charged, but in retrospect, I can say that it was reasonable. I would use them again in the future because they come to your home ready to work, get the job done, and clean up after themselves. To me, that indicates a good company!

We always use them for all of our plumbing around our house. We were glad that when it burst they came right out to shut the water off and start digging. They had it all fixed in a day which I thought was very fast. It is not a cheap repair but we think we got a fair price for all the work they had to do.

The workers they sent were good and knew what they were doing. Once the new pipe was installed, I did not have any more problems. I was very satisfied with the job that they did and would use them again if I needed to.

The man who was here seemed to be a real working wheel. He did an excellent job and no problems have been encountered yet here at home with this job. My son handled most of the dealings with this job an he is quite pleased himself. The man that came out was very nice and very cooperative. He stayed out of our way and he did his job.

It took him several days because he had dig up all the old piping and tear it out and replace it. He also had to tear up my walk way to get to the pipe. He was very thorough and I was very satisfied with the job they did.

They did a good job connecting everything up to the city lines. There is no leakage that I know of. I have not had any sewer line backups so I am quite happy with their work. I dont remember what they charged but I know it was reasonable.

They were very prompt and fixed it in about 30 seconds which is irritating considering the price. When the repairman said that was their standard hourly rate I asked him to please spend time repairing the other toilets. That, he said, would be an additional $700. No matter how long it takes, I will do the repairs myself in the future.

The service people were obviously experienced. Their diagnosis was correct. They didnt have the right pvc pipe in their van, and had to go purchase it. It was a messy job to remove and replace the pipe, but they did spread drop cloths on the basement floor. The lead plumber asked, if I could get rid of the old pieces of soil pipe. I said that I had no way to get rid of them. He said he thought the garbage man would take them and that he didnt want to mess up his van with them. He then made out the invoice, while the helper cleaned and packed the tools. He presented his bill, was paid. I re-checked the basement to again review the job, only to see that the black mess on the floor, that wasnt covered by drop-cloths had not been cleaned. I feel that it should have been. Overall, the mechanical part of the job was fine. The lack of clean-up and disposal of removed parts was not satisfactory. Incidentally, the garbage collectors did take the pieces of heavy iron soil pipe.

Technician was half an hour late, looked at the job and told me he had to go find the faucet handle. He was gone three hours. I had to call the office to find out where he was. When he got here, he had the wrong faucet, so when he installed it the handle turned the wrong way. Charged me $225, refused to refund any part of the charge, even though he was gone so long, and refused to leave until I signed the statement that I was satisfied with the work. I will NEVER, EVER use this company again.

All work performed was bad. No problem was corrected. Would not correct problem, their guarantee is no good.

Service was relatively prompt but it was pricey.

This was a HUGE job. The pipes in our basement had been patched many times in the last 50 years and it was a mess. The pipes were old, corroded, and clogged. I called Roto Rooter for an estimate and, thankfully, they sent Zakar Yasharahla to do the job. This was the best experience I ever had with a plumber. He was completely professional. His ideas for simplifying the piping were right on target. He is one of the hardest workers I have ever met and he never asked me for anything. He simply worked until the job was done. This job took four days (he was slow but meticulous) and he worked late into the night to make sure that we had water each night. The new pipes have transformed the house. Mr. Yasharahla made sure everything was working perfectly before he left the job.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT I SPENT $350 AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN CORRECT THE PROBLEM. WHEN I CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM ABOUT THE PROBLEM, THEY DIDN'T OFFER TO PAY ME BACK.

They tried to install a cheaper model than the one I ordered. The machine they brought out also had a shorter warranty. Told them it wouldnt do and I wouldnt accept the machine without the warranty. They called their boss and he told them to load up the machine and take it away. That was the end of the contact with the company.
