My fiancé and I purchased a home recently. We had a gas dryer, and for a variety of reasons that I will not list here, it was cheaper to just run a gas line than to get a new dryer. My fiancé called the gas company to inquire about how to do that, and they recommended Rickey Pines as the contractor of choice. Trusting the gas company, we called Rickey Pines, and they were out to our house pretty swiftly (within a few days) and estimated that the job could be done within 2 hours, which was true. Upon leaving, all seemed well, and then 2 weeks after install, I start smelling strong odors of gas. The gas company had us evacuate the house so they could test and all that jazz. Lo and behold, the leak was coming from the work that Rickey Pines had done. We called Rickey Pines back, and Noel (the owner/operator) was very dismissive of us and did not seem to care that his work had failed. He gave us his "office number" (which constantly had a busy signal) before abruptly hanging up. We back-searched the number to find other reviews almost identical to our experience (leaks coming shortly after work). As a result, we knew that we had to get another plumber out here to fix the work. Our chosen plumber (who is AMAZING) found that the materials used in the project were OLD AND REUSED. Meaning that this work was done with essentially scrapped, old materials instead of new ones. Additionally, the valves were held together by plumber's plaster instead of plumber's putty, which was explained to us as a grave mistake in running gas line. Obviously, we were mortified--we could have died and this contractor didn't have enough care to make sure his work was well done so that he could prevent injury as much as possible. Also, how can he be recommended by our own gas company? Oh, because he used to work there for 40 years--nepotism at its finest. DO NOT HIRE. Unless you like living life on the edge, and then this might be the guy for you.

DO NOT USE this company! Ricky Pines Contracting was recommended by Atlanta Gas Light to install a new gas line. He came out to our home and seemed like he was in a hurry. He said it was normal to smell gas several days after. Within 3 days, we were smelling gas coming from our living room. I immediately called the gas company to report a gas leak and they confirmed we did have a leak and the pipe was extremely loose. He also did not install a shut off valve on the gas line in the basement which was not done to code. I called the man back, his name is Noel Daniels and he still has not called back. The phone number I have been calling is 770-403-2495. I feel as if he needs to have his license revoked before we ends up killing someone! Please do your research before you hire anyone. I trusted the gas company to provide a trust worthy company. This guy needs to be shut down before he causes serious events,

Rickey Pines Contractors Inc was recommended by GA Natural Gas to install a new gas line. After several conversations with a man named Noel Daniel (who is the only person running this so called business) he finally made it out for the install. He seemed like he was in a hurry to get done & get out, but claims he's been doing this for a long time so I trusted him along with the recommendation from the gas company. Mistake.... He did what I would call a hack job with excessive connections which led to a gas leak. I had to cut the gas line off after every use for weeks. After calling the 770-246-9137 business number and his cell 770-403-2495 for over 3 weeks and leaving ten messages stating that I have a gas leak and no response what so ever, I'm having to pay to have the leak fixed. I highly recommend you look elsewhere and stay away from Mr. Daniel as he does not stand by his work!

Very well. All was successful. I know Noel from my days at Atlanta Gas Light and I would not have anyone else install my gas lines.
Description of Work: We had gas lines run for the grill, gas logs installed and for a new range. The cost was reasonable and Noel was very courteous and experienced.
