Rhonda was absolutely wonderful! I had used Duffy Realty prior to contacting Rhonda, and was not able to sell my home through Duffy. I was not given good guidance on pricing my home, which is critical in so many ways. I had done plenty of research, but that cannot make up for the years of experience that good realtor has. It was also difficult to reach someone at Duffy to answer my questions.
Rhonda Levan was at my side through the entire process of selling my home. She immediately got to work and provided information on comps as well as thoughts on pricing and staging my home to achieve the best results. I was able to make several small changes that really helped. She secured the asking price, which was above my expectations, from a qualified buyer within one week of listing!
Rhonda also helped me purchase a new home. In a very competitive market (summer of 2015), she was able to secure a contract on the ideal house for me when 2 other contracts suddenly fell through. She had called the seller's agent to be called if a contract fell through, which two did! If Rhonda had not been so dedicated to helping me find the right house, I would have missed the perfect opportunity.
Rhonda is a wonderfully honest and kind person. I always felt that I was with a friend, and not just a client to help secure another commission. Rhonda has extensive experience and is very concerned about getting the best for her clients. My experience with Rhonda left me with a lot of equity from my home, and a wonderful new home to live in with my family.
Thank you Rhonda!!
Rhonda didn't just try to help me buy any house, she helped me buy the RIGHT house. She paid attention to my lifestyle and interests and would make intelligent comments on each home she showed me ensuring I selected the perfect house for me. With her wealth of experience, she was able to point things out that, as a first-time homebuyer, I would never have thought of. She is also very conscientious about potential issues and items that can help or hurt resale value.
And her commitment to her clients goes on after the sale. She has become a very valuable home advisor and the first person I turn to for any questions or issues pertaining to my house. She also maintains a list of good and honest contractors that she shares to make sure we all continue to get treated with honesty and integrity.
Rhonda is also a great advocate for the community. She sends out a newsletter that contains important and relevant information about crime in the area, government updates, events, volunteer opportunities and even lost dogs. I believe she is also our COPS liaison to the police department making sure we are informed of all crime in the area and how to protect ourselves.
When I get ready to sell my house I will definitely list with Rhonda. I have noticed that she does a great job valuing houses so that you get the most money for the sale. Don't get excited about someone that says they sell houses in 36 hours -- that probably means that they put it on the market too low. As a fellow neighbor, Rhonda has a vested interest in keeping the property values of my neighborhood as high as possible and we all appreciate that. Thanks Rhonda!
Beware of Nancy Minor and her team. She undervalues homes so that they sell fast with no regard about getting the most money for her clients and no regard for helping us maintain and even increase our property values. And if you are buying a home, she will try to get you to buy one of her listings so that she gets double commission, Because of this, she will not show every potential house including what may be the best house for her client. One neighbor also told me about some very unprofessional and disturbing communications that her realtor received from Nancy. Another neighbor had her house listed by Nancy Minor's team without her agreement or signature. She also felt they put it on the market too low. This person actually opened a case with Nancy's broker before it was resolved.
My experience with Rhonda Levan was POSITIVE and SUCCESSFUL!
I am truly thrilled to have chosen Rhonda in navigating the sale of my home in Peachtree Corners Circle-which was only listed for ONE DAY and sold for an amount VERY close to my asking price!! Can you believe it?
Rhonda has many positive attributes; yet, I found in selecting her as my realtor was her honesty and integrity. From the beginning when I signed my contract to engage her services, through the negotiations, contracting, and to the final execution of the sale, she was outstanding!
Rhonda made me aware what the prospective buyer would see when they toured my home, and informed me of all potential negative factors. I did make the necessary recommendations in showcasing my home which made it more marketable.
Rhonda is organized, works with attention to detail, and is a very hard worker. She made me feel the sale of my home was most important to her.
Rhonda made me feel at ease as she coordinated the process with my home inspections, prospective buyer, and everyone else involved in the sale. She was not afraid to speak up for me in a polite manner and engaging personality.
I highly recommend Rhonda Levan if you are considering to buy or sell your home.
She researched comparable properties and recent sales to help us price the home appropriately. After each showing, she following up with other agents to get feedback, and passed that information on to us. During negotiations, she was tough, but respectful and pleasant to the potential buyers and their agent. Her ongoing efforts helped ensure a smooth closing in which all parties felt confident everyone was acting in good faith.
Selling a home can be an emotional roller coaster, but Rhonda's logic, calm demeanor, experience, professionalism, and encouragement helped us through. We appreciate her and her efforts, and definitely recommend her.
We had purchased a home out of state and were in a mess trying to figure out how to clean out our house in Duluth (after 30 years of living there), get it ready to market and find out just what, how and when we needed to get things done. Rhonda came in and recommended a contractor/decorator and gave us answers to all the many questions any seller has. She also handled getting rid of all staging items that were left after the sale. I cannot tell you how great she was for us.
She has professional pictures taken of the property and was working with us from the beginning to the end.
In a saturated local Real estate market, Rhonda advised us on cost-saving measures to make our house more marketable and provided extremely reliable and reasonably priced referrals that beautifully transformed our house in less than 2 weeks. Once on the market, there were a lot of showings but offers were slow to come since there were more than ten comparable houses for sale in our subdivision alone. In a strategic decision, we slightly lowered our asking price and got a solid offer right after a slow December month. Rhonda then helped us negotiate a great counter offer that was accepted. She also did a great job at helping facilitate our closing that required a proxy signatory since we now live out of state. In all, I would highly recommend Rhonda Levan's services for selling a house. She is friendly, honest, knowledgeable, reliable, price conscious and efficient. Can't ask for better!
rarely seen in the real estate profession. She is a trusted advisor
who looks out for the people she represents, while treating the other
parties ethically and respectfully. We never doubted that she was
looking out for our best interests. Her experience works in her
clients' favor. For example, some of the wording she used when she
put together our contract offer became extremely important and
protected us as the deal progressed. Her experience and forethought
saved us a lot of headaches and prevented our being open to
unnecessary risk in the transaction.
The agent representing the seller was not experienced in complex
transactions such as ours, and was not particularly motivated to
learn. Rhonda picked up some extra work that wasn't her
responsibility, but she did so out of commitment to us and our best
interests--all without complaint.
She is knowledgeable, ethical, and responsive. I can recommend her
without reservation.
I would highly recommend her as a broker in North Atlanta.
She was always timely in her responses, professional and organized. She always returned our calls and email promptly and was always willing to show us a house, no matter where it was and how bad rush hour traffic was. Rhonda is a very caring individual who truly wants to help find people their dream homes. Even after we purchased the home, she still checks in with us. :-)
Hearing friends and family members talk about their sale/purchase process, it seems a lot of realtors tell you what you want to hear or ignore what your goals/priorities are. Rhonda always tells us like it is--even if we don't like hearing it. We listed our home in July 2013 and had about 70 showings but no offers over the course of 3 months. Rhonda chased the showing realtors for feedback and consistently presented us with their opinions of our home. We elected to address the negative feedback, all items Rhonda initially suggested we invest a little bit of money on and relisted our home in January 2014--we got an offer within 1% of our asking price in less than a day. Trust her opinions--she's done this many times and will tell you what needs to be done to sell! She'll tell you what she knows and recommend professionals for areas outside of her expertise. She's always available to bounce an idea off of, and stays in contact regularly.
When selling our home, the buyers' realtor was clearly new to the industry and there were multiple times in the process where Rhonda took control to make sure things stayed on track. She made sure we were informed of risks and always had a plan to address them, offering what if scenarios and back up plans in such a way that made us feel 100% confident throughout the process. We knew we had a great realtor in Rhonda, but having seen first hand what a bad realtor looked like, we found ourselves feeling so thankful we had her on our side throughout the process.
I would consider my wife and I to be very savvy buyers and shoppers, and Rhonda's skillset complemented our knowledge so well throughout all of our transactions. I would say that Rhonda's best quality is that despite her knowledge and expertise, she never forces you into a decision or plays on emotion to persuade you into a certain course of action. She lays out the facts and the truth about the situation, helps you see the angles, and lets you decide what's best for you. She's respectful of your time and money and really makes you feel like family the way she handles her business.
She is a pleasure to work with and on top of being a great business partner is a fantastic person who really does care about our long term happiness. I would recommend Rhonda to anyone who asked me for a realtor without hesitation. Even with all of the great tools out there on the internet, zillow doesn't tell you everything! When you're considering listing a home or making an offer, having someone on your team who has done it all and offers real, grounded advice with pros and cons is a tremendous asset. If you are considering buying or selling, you owe it to yourself to contact Rhonda and work with her.
