PROSOURCE WHOLESALE FLOOR

Our installer was very specific with our order. The carpet that was delivered was NOT what we ordered but the installer did not call ProSource and did not explain that if I wasn't happy and they cut the carpet I would not be ablae to return ANY of it. After one room was installed I realized how cheap and poor the flooring was, that it had NO backing and was not appropriate for the home. ProSourec refused to take any responsibility eventhough the salesman admitted to changing the order. My credit card company agreed with me and credited me with the charge, but ProSource is now Filing a small claims suit! I've never had such a horrible experience with a home vendor of any kind. Do NOT work with them or let your installer hire them.

Bought flooring directly from ProSource as the general contractor recommended them.....Once the product was chosen......and I had secured their and quot;best priceand quot;......they sent the invoice over for payment.....Guess what???? Invoice contained freight charges that were never mentioned or discussed during negotiation...... The contractor (ProSource's customer)...... Gave them the quantities needed for the project.....and the order was placed..... I paid ProSource personally and in advance....Unfortunately..... the contractor miscalculated the square footage of the project so there was material left over....(Don't know for sure...but this makes me think there must be some type of rebate or loyalty program for their customers, the contractors although their marketing material emphatically states they are not a buying group or Co-Op) .I called ProSource to discuss the issue...... am still waiting on their return call.......but they were kind enough to call the contractor and have him inform me that there would be a 25% restocking fee.... Here is the part where you really get to see the values of ProSource......not only did they discuss payment details with someone that was not authorized to do so......and not only did they charge 25% restocking fee...... They also charged me $75 for return freight......They only charged $50 for the original inbound shipment..... and that shipment weighed twice as much as the returned freight!!!!! ProSource has an explanation for this transaction.......I am sure...... Once I do receive that return phone call...... I will revise the review....ProSource likes to brag about how big they are.....how much buying power they have.......but......they will never be considered a leader in any form of customer service.......BEWARE..... UPDATE: the owner personally followed up and has made this experience better...... I personally returned the unused material to the manufacture...... Thus eliminating the return freight cost.... And The owner personally waived the restocking fee......and accepted all unused material. He also explained that their staff was stressed during this transaction as one of the employees was dealing with pregnancy complications.... I believe ProSource deserves a second evaluation...... They certainly could have done a better job communicating......and resolution could have been easier......but....not many owners would get involved with a return problem..... So I tip my hat to the owner...... It's obvious he cares about the customer experience....... Going forward.... I would do business again with ProSource

I was referred to ProSource by my installer. I worked with Steven who was absolutely great. He had a lot of knowledge about flooring and was very helpful. I was able to find a beautiful, reasonably priced discontinued wood that worked out great for me. The quality of the wood was great. My experience at ProSource was very good and I already picked out carpet that I want installed next.

Prosource has an amazing selection of tile, carpet and hardwood, etc. I had a very specific want/need for my tile - darker in color and look like natural stone. I looked at a lot of places and was not able to find what I wanted. They showed my a lot of different tiles and even went to catalogs to find additional choices. When I found something I liked I needed a few tiles for color. etc. They called the rep for the manufacturer and he was in another part of the state, but had some samples with him. He dropped them off at Prosource the next day. Prosource was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable and went over and above to get what I needed. They have installers they can recommend if you need someone and have very strict requirements for these installers. Among other things they must be reliable and do quality work. The carpet installer I called to give me a quote returned my call within hours and came the next day to measure. I had a quote a couple of days later. I had a wonderful experience with Prosource and highly recommend them.

ProSource, a KEY part of this experience: A recommendation: • Bertolli Floors (installer) • ProSource (supplier) We got estimates from three top-rated flooring installers on Angie’s List. Bertolli was chosen because they were the only one who checked our subfloors and told us the particle board would absolutely need to be replaced with plywood before a hardwood installation. (We could have had an unpleasant surprise except for Bruno Bertolli.) Bertolli’s prices were fair and competitive. We choose hardwoods and carpet from ProSource in Norcross because they partner with Bertolli on projects. We contracted for a top-quality prefinished solid oak flooring for our entire upstairs and replacement carpet for the living room. ProSource’s prices were also competitive. Donna at ProSource worked with us to get just the right products. However, when the hardwood floor material turned out to be full of defects, Bertolli installers stopped the installation and, with my approval, removed the flooring and returned it to ProSource, who promptly and without problem exchanged all the flooring for our alternate-choice wood floor. This was seamless and painless—with no additional cost to us thanks to Bertolli and ProSource. I am a very particular individual . . . I found a some flaws in the installation. Bruno Bertolli and I worked out a fair solution, and I am 150% satisfied. I experienced Bertolli’s reputation; they always will make it right.
