MURO PAINTING

Ignacio and his crew do an incredible job. They've painted rooms, the exterior or our house and even kitchen cabinets for me. Everything looks very nice that they've painted for me. I am using my contractor's painter on a project now nad there is no comparison.

Fantastic company. We found Muro Painting from our talented designer who has used them exclusively for years on her and her architect husband's own homes and for many of her clients which she said all raved about their work. I am a very picky perfectionist and I told Ignacio that right from the start and showed him examples of the kind of quality work I was looking for. He explained what he was going to do for the money quoted and promised to make me happy and he delivered. This project was daunting -- big rooms, 11' ceilings, ornate mouldings, trim everywhere, lots of tall panelled doors and 50+ oversized double hung windows in fair to poor condition that were original to this 100 year old house. Plus, there was a big staircase with many dozens of intricate spindles. Also, there were newly renovated areas that needed priming and painting too. These guys are basically a tightly run family operation (a very large family) where everyone pulls their weight and works together with a great attitude. It took them just shy of 4 weeks (as projected) to complete with a good sized team working a full day every day but Sunday. Ramon and Carlos were on site every day and are the most talented painters I've ever seen and have an awesome work ethic to boot. Peter was a big help too. These guys got along great with my sheetrocker and other trades. Their attitudes were the best. In the face of lots of unexpected old house "surprises", they were solutions based and kept their cool as well as their sense of humors. When we didn't like the actual colors that we picked for 2 of our bathrooms once we saw them up, we picked new colors and they repainted them with a good attitude. "Change Orders" like this could have been a "gotcha" experience with another contractor, but with Muro the charge to redo the rooms was extremely reasonable. We had a lot of eyes on the paint --- critical family members, a designer, architects, etc.... ---- all of whom were blown away by their talent and good attitudes. Also, they worked very neat and were organized which is something that my wife and I really value. We would leave them a key without hesitation even when we were out of town. As far as the cost goes, these guys were among the cheapest of the 5 recommended companies we interviewed, but they weren't the very cheapest. They did, however, do a ton more than any of the other painters promised that they would do and the quality of the prep work was top notch. Moreover, they completely kept to our original deal even though I think it was perhaps more work than Ignacio had originally thought it would be. i kept asking him if he was ok with the money and he said he was fine as he said he knew it was a big expensive job when he took it. This turned out to be as much a restoration job as a painting job. Now that our floors are refinished and all the other trades are done, I'm calling them back in for touch up as planned. We are really enjoying the beautiful transformation that Muro made to our house and feel so lucky to live in the Atlanta area so we can keep using these guys ---- they are the very best!! We highly recommended them!!

GREAT! The crew work very hard. They took their time and even trimmed the trees where they were touching my home at no extra cost.
