+ -1 moreAWFUL. The repairs were shoddy and completely inadequate, the guttering is falling away from the house from the damage that they caused and didn't repair. Refused to meet me in person and discuss the job they had done and refused to make right the damage they caused when trespassing on my property. A small claims law suit is about to be filed. Wouldn't touch them!

+ 0 moreCould not have gone better. Arrived on time worked very hard super nice men cleaned up as they went even vacuumed. I would highly recommend a pleasure to deal with Kevin and his crew. Would use them again. And the price was reasonable. .

+ 0 moreKevin was responsive when I called to ask for a quote, explained all the work to me and provided a quote quickly. Once the job was scheduled, his team was on-time for the day of installation and did a great job. The job was fairly complex as we had 3 very large fixed pane windows replaced, 2 of the windows were ~10ft high in our great room and required the team to put a scaffolding up and "gingerly" remove the large windows. The team was very polite and our new windows are crystal clear, and the door is a solid wood door which is sturdy and looks great. Overall Kevin and Team are great to work with and I'd recommend them and use them again.
Description of Work: Kevin and team replaced our front door, and 3 large, fixed pane windows.

+ -1 moreKevin told me that the special order would take 4-6 weeks. He also gave me options that I didn't think about because my front window lets in the harsh afternoon sun. Once the window came in, his crew showed up a few minutes before the 7:00 start time and got started right away. Extremely professional and nice crew of 3 gentlemen. They were careful with my house and cleaned up after they were done. You could not tell they had been here except there was a new window instead of my rotted old one. This is the second time I have used him and most certainly not the last. Both jobs were replacing very large windows in my house.
Description of Work: Replaced a large front palladium window.

Description of Work: I used Kucera twice. First time, around 2005 , he replaced a triple window with a large picture window .. Back then he was doing mainly windows and doors. I was happy with his work and hired him a 2nd time to add 2 windows in the basement. For this he had someone do the brick work. He did a mediocre job. It's messy and mortar is not matched well. I would hire Kucera again if no brick work is involved. The window installation went fine. The 3rd time I tried to hire him he did not return my calls or email. My impression is that he has become very busy and is not interested in small jobs. I do not recall cost of either job but I know he is not cheap.

+ 0 moreKevin and his crew are fantastic. From the moment Kevin walks in the door you are at ease. It is obvious he knows what he's doing. His crew members are pleasant and are sitting in your driveway waiting to come in at the time the job is scheduled. They clean up everything, everyday that they are at your home. They have worked for me several times replacing bad windows and doors in my house. Kevin always gives me multiple options when discussing my job. He is also quick to respond if there are any issues. I have not used him for any construction, but would not hesitate to do so based on his superior work.

+ 7 moreKevin did all the demolition, electrical, sheetrock, moving lighting fixtures, reinstalling the cabinets in our basement creating a kitchen down there, etc. He then has a list of contractors he works with that match his outstanding skills. Outside of Kevin, we used his plumber, purchased our our own countertops, used his recommended cabinet maker, etc. We love our kitchen!!!!
Description of Work: Removed old kitchen cabinets, reinstalled in basement, got custom designed new cabinets, countertops, plumbing, lighting, appliances, etc.

Description of Work: After moving out of our starter home into a new home, we are now preparing to rent the starter home. We got a trusted review of the deficiencies that were recommended to be fixed. We needed to repair some sheetrock, make the back porch child proof with correctly spaced rails, close in the rafters on the back porch, install a ceiling fan, etc.

+ -1 moreKevin Kucera inspected my windows and submitted a written quote. I accepted the quote, and shortly thereafter, workmen came and replaced all the old wooden brick mould pieces and sills with equivalent-looking PVC. Their work was clean and neat, and they did a complete clean-up before leaving.
Description of Work: This company replaces wooden brick mould/sill, etc. with a PVC product. In my case the 15-year old wood parts had severely deteriorated. I expect to get more than 15 yrs. life from the PVC replacement parts.
