Description of Work: This was the smoothest and most professional move we have ever experiences. Polite, careful, dedicated team of five men who provided the service and completed the task under budget. I would recommend to anyone. Included in the move was the transport of our grand piano; without a hitch.

Description of Work: GA Pack & Load moved us from Duluth, GA to Pike Road, AL. Our move was especially difficult due to a very steep driveway at our Duluth house. GP&L sent an extra team to handle the move out. On the delivery end, the GP&L guys knew how to deliver & set up the furniture efficiently and correctly. The crew had a good eye for detail. Additionally they kept us entertained with their friendly banter between each other. It was evident they had worked together and were a good team. We rate GP&L an A++.

Description of Work: The team that was dispatched to load a rental truck but they did not have the correct info from their dispatcher. They were told it was an unload when in fact it was a load of a 26' truck. They had to return to shop for supplies which caused a delay. The two men dispatched were cordial and professional. | |As the loading progressed the crew leader asked if it would be OK to get two more men at a new rate. I approved this after confirming the rate but it was several hours before a single additional man showed up on the job. In my opinion, he was not very excited about the job and did not contribute very much to the loading effort. As the loading progressed it became clear that everything would not fit on the truck and I was told what would fit in the remaining space. However, many of the items identified did not get loaded as space ran out and we could no longer stack some items. Towards the end of the day the loading became less organized and several of the last items were not properly secured including a large area rug that was not properly stacked. In my opinion it was getting close to 4:30 pm and they were ready to end their day. | |The truck was closed up and backed out of the steep driveway while I was presented with the invoice. I was charged a trip time for the extra man that I was not told about and do not think was appropriate but had to pay. The extra help, which I do not think was necessary cost me an extra $150 give or take. | |Overall, the loaders were hardworking and professional. They were responsive to questions and suggestions. | |Some damage was noted from the improper loading and lack of securing the later loaded items. | |I have moved many times but this was a first for packing myself and having a service do the loading. Overall, their performance was good but the attention to detail and the rush and drop off in the quality of their work towards the end of the load were not acceptable.

Description of Work: Moved my house .. all was awesome but during the move to the new house there were many small messes made on the walls and some damage to the walls.. they could have been more careful.

Description of Work: The team moved my belongings from one house to the new one. The guys were so nice, pleasant, laughing with each other...no complaining, even when I had them take a chest of drawers up a flight of stairs and then move it down 2 flights to the basement when I changed my mind. Super set of professional men...and the "head" guy worked as hard as all and was just great!

Description of Work: Packed and moved a large home very quickly and safely. All people I worked with were professional and friendly. The packing team came through and had everything done in a few hours. They left the rooms prepped for the moving team who arrived on time and maintained a very high energy level. I felt the money was well spent and will use them again for my next move.

Description of Work: They moved us from Atlanta, GA to Jonesboro, AR. It was one of the smoothest moves I ever experienced. All 4 guys were there early and worked really, really hard to make sure our furniture was not scratched or damaged. They took their time to do things right and not rush. On the unload we had the same lead guy and his helper, what a twosome they were. Great job! They truly cared about us and wanted to make sure everything was place where we wanted it. They even brought us flowers on delivery date. What a nice touch!

Description of Work: I had a tougher move than I anticipated, so it took a bit longer for 2 men. However, they worked fast under the circumstances. I had one issue come up during the transport of my things from my apt to the house. I discussed this with Bruce and he reimbursed me for some of the time I was charged. I felt satisfied with how they handled my situation, and believe that they value their customers. I knocked the grade down a bit in this review because I wasn't crazy about the lead mover guy. He told me up front that I was under no obligation to tip. I was planning to tip regardless. This guy frequently pointed out all the things they were doing well and to make things go faster like he was trying to ensure that I tipped them. Maybe this is common practice, but I would've preferred that he just do the work and let me judge for myself how they were doing instead of all the selling of himself. I liked the other guy that was working with him a lot better--very fast, friendly, and a good attitude.

Description of Work: Leonard & Jerry were great. Showed up on time and took the time to make sure all the furniture was properly protected. Even helped with a couple of extra things that we needed moved. We bought a 'coupon' special for $299-3 hours of moving and 2 men. Got it all done within the timeframe which we were very pleased that there were no other (hidden) extra charges. We would definitely use them again, and would definitely ask for Leonard & Jerry.

Description of Work: They moved all of my furnishings out of my storage unit in Atlanta and drove overnight directly to my place in New Orleans. They do not put your things on a truck with other people's belongings. They confirm a pickup time and the drop off date was the next day! I moved to New Orleans after placing all of my furnishings in storage in Atlanta. When it came time for me to move into my place in New Orleans, I had to arrange for my things to be brought to me long distance. I cannot tell you how amazing this company was during the planning and execution of my move. From Bruce (Sales) to Andrew and Robert (who actually did the move), they were professional, flexible and had a can do spirit throughout the whole thing. Andrew and Robert were beyond amazing. They were able to move large pieces of furniture up a flight of stairs to the second floor condo (in a very old building that had a narrow, winding staircase.) They could not have had a more positive or generous spirit. They never once indicated that anything was too much or difficult. I had no idea who to use for my move. I received all sorts of quotes from all of these companies I found on line but when I researched their reviews, people had all of these horror stories. It was stressful trying to orchestrate this. I found Georgia Pack and Load on Angie's list, they had a ton of A reviews and now they have another one from me. I give them an A++ if I could. If you use them, you will not regret it!!

Description of Work: This team is storing some of my belongings as well as providing move services from my home to three separate locations. I totally trust them. and know from my experience in seeking multiple quotes for the job, Georgia Pack and Load was not oly cost competitive but offered the largest variety of services. Their team is superb! Georgia Pack and Load willo be my "go to" movers going forward.
