Overall, it went very well.

They did a great job. They were on time and conscientious.

After having my home closed up for over 16 months, I moved back in earlier this year to a leak in the roof, minor water damage and mold. I immediately called FloodMasters, who arrived the same day and remedied the problem within the week. They suggested that I also have the air ducts cleaned, but I waited for a couples of months before deciding to do so. During this time, I experienced an increase in symptoms of my asthma and allergies but attributed it to the pollen in Atlanta. A few weeks ago, I went ahead and called FloodMasters back to clean the air ducts. They used a "negative air pressure" and a "fogging" system to do the job. Essentially, that means they used a high powered vacuum to suck all the dust out while blowing pressurized air through every inch of the duct system to dislodge the dust mites that were stuck in the nooks and crannies. Then, they drew an antimicrobial/antibacterial fog through the system that killed any mold and mold spores that might have grown while my house was unoccupied. Over the next few days, I experienced a significant reduction in symptoms associated with my allergies and asthma. If I had known that unclean air ducts could have such a profound effect on my physical well-being, I would have had them cleaned long before I moved back in. Much like my previous experience, the employees of FloodMasters who came to my home were on time, friendly and very informative. That is, they took the time to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. More importantly, the cost of their service was very reasonable, which is especially important in the current economy. I give FloodMasters my HIGHEST recommendation.

When I saw some discoloration on the ceiling in one of my closets, I feared that I might have a mold problem. A friend told me he had a very good experience using Floodmasters recently, so I decided to give them a call. Much to my surprise, they showed up that very same day. Bob confirmed that I did in fact have mold growing on the ceiling of my closet. He and his team began work immediately, removing the damaged areas, taking appropriate action to contain the mold spores. They placed several "air-scrubbers" in the surrounding rooms, just as a precaution. And they identified and repaired a small leak in my roof that allowed moisture to seep through, causing the mold. The next day, I filed a claim with my insurance company. To make a long story short, the insurance adjuster gave me the run-around. When I told Bob about it, he said that he would take care of it. Two days later, I received an e-mail from the adjuster saying that they would pay for the repairs in full. Bob's willingness to deal directly with my insurance certainly made my life much easier. In the mean time, Bob's team went to work repairing the closet, which included some significant design changes that I requested. And it came out even better than I expected. The team at Floodmasters was prompt, professional and courteous. They were knowledgeable and thorough. And the quality of their work was outstanding. I could not have been more satisfied.

It was an emergency situation, and they answered the phone on Sunday. We had no problems with them. They were attentive. They cleaned up very well.

The overall experience was not pleasant concerning the sewage in my home. But, after Floodmasters came they took care of everything and put my house back together BETTER than it was before it happened. Thank You! Floodmasters
