CC Associated Movers

I recently moved from Atlanta to Canton, GA and received estimates from three local companies. I chose CC Movers, not because the were the low bidder, but because the communication with them before the move was more professional and personal. Davon Chester, the Office Manager, received my online request and called with a few questions the next day. He was courteous, listened carefully, and assured me of the care and quality CC Movers represents. I’ve moved many times, from a 5-bdrm houseful of property, to a one-bdrm apartment (the current move), and know accidents happen, no matter how careful we are. After unloading, I pointed out a few damages (nothing major or irreplaceable) to the moving lead, and documented them with photos and details, which I sent to Davon. Because I had purchased full-replacement insurance through them (highly recommended with any move), Davon had them approved at the full amounts and credited the card I used to pay for the move within one week. Going beyond the settlement, Davon asked if there was anything they could have done better, so to use my comments in future training of staff. I’ve never had this thorough of an experience with any other moving company. Despite the few damages, the overall experience was worth five stars, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended!

I hired this moving company to move me from one area of Georgia to another July 1, 2020 the initial loading of my items went ok but when my items arrived to their final destination they were dented, scratch and ripped when I reported the destruction of certain items I was told that I needed to send pictures I sent the pictures and because I didn't have the extended warranty they gave me a refund of only $100 but I was told by the young man handling my case I would receive $273 by check. This is not what happened I was refunded my deposit. I was highly upset seeing that my items were worth way more. The movers tore a Cushion from the seam and scuffed up the leather from my 7 piece sectional, chunks of wood was missing from my king size head board and railings not to mention drag marks as well , scratches and scuff marks on my coffee and end tables as well as my computer table my 70-inch metal and glass TV stand was dented and bent along the frame rendering it useless. When I explained everything that was damaged to the associate he told me to send him pictures of all the damages I did and he hits me with our man said that it looks like it's pressed wood first off how can you officially say this without actually seeing the items in person then he tried to tell me that they had the exact same TV stand in the office and he knows how much it cost I told him my TV stand cost me $299 and that I did not expect to get what it cost but I expected to get more than the $273 that he was offering me, there was so much back and forth to be honest with you I got so annoyed and I said you know what just send me the check for my items! Now I'm not sure how Insurance works when you're moving but I would have thought that there would be some kind of form that I would have to fill out there was not all they did was refund me my deposit of $100 which is not what I was informed I would get ($273) I haven't heard nothing more from them and to be honest with you I would never use them again or reccomend them BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY if you don't mind your things getting DAMAGED then go with them but if you value and treasure your items then I suggest you go with a different company remember the old adage you get what you pay for and that's exactly what I got damaged scuffed and unusable pieces of furniture YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Damage to furniture, most likely by a trainee. Two pieces damaged moderately, two others slightly. They forgot to unwrap one piece.

Moving day went fairly well. There were still a number of things we needed to pack but with 5 guys, we didn't really have room to move and finish. They grabbed anything that was ready. If they had gone more room to room, we probably would have been able to finish up. Additionally when providing packing I suggest labeling more clearly than just "kitchen, especially if small appliances are in the boxes. Despite this, the move went pretty well (I didn't expect perfection) and the 5 guys doing the packing and moving were very polite and professional. They didn't try to charge more than what was quoted which could have happened with other companies. I would recommend them.

Well. They were very professional and enthusiastic even when faced with (overall) 6 flights of stairs.

We are very happy with the service provided. Our house was 4 BR, 2.5 BA and we lived there for 13 years, so the process of packing and moving everything was daunting. CC Associated Movers was a lifesaver. The team packed and moved everything to our storage unit. They were prompt and professional, and took great care with our things. They were also fast, from start to finish, it took the team less than 5 hours to pack everything and load it into the truck. Moreover, the storage company called us to tell us that the unit we booked was no longer available, so we had to accept a smaller unit (with the option of procuring a second, if needed). CC Associated Movers did such a wonderful job of maneuvering our things into the smaller unit that everything fit with room to spare, so the second unit was not needed. We definitely plan to use the company for the move to our next home.
