Description of Work: Performed summer HVAC inspection and tune-up. Don arrived on time and completed the inspection and explained what he did and the condition of our HVAC. He was very professional, showed respect for our property and cleaned up after he was finished. We have always been satisfied with services provided and find them to be honest.

Description of Work: Working in Property Management for years, I have a lot of experience with HVAC; however I felt compelled to write about this company. After visiting a friend's house and seeing their new filter system (Honeywell Media Whole House Air Filter) I was very impressed with the installation and how it was cut into the plenum as well as the whole house humidifier. I contacted John at Atlantic and scheduled an appointment with him. He was there early, professional, didn't try to up-sell me anything in fact told me I didn't need some things. He also noticed a noise and said he'd adjust the fan while he was installing my new products. He also told me that I needed to clean my ducts first and recommended a company but was very clear he had nothing to benefit by this recommendation and use whoever I wanted. He sent me a quote the same day. I had my ducts cleaned. I ordered the Media Filters (which is not simply a filter it's like a cartridge you add into your plenum with a 5" filter that slides in and out) and he sent two team members over to install my filters. They were early and professional. They did a good job. I had one issue with one of the systems after they left and called on a Saturday. Susan, John's wife, answered and sent John over immediately and hit a reset button - and showed me how to do it in the future. What service!

Description of Work: I have used Atlantic Services, Inc. twice now and recommended them to several neighbors and friends. The owner and his staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and frankly just very kind and patient. The first time I called them, our air conditioning unit had died in one of the storms that had come through last summer. They came out the next day and helped me figure out the problem. The unit had been struck by lightning. They helped me replace the unit and also helped me negotiate and navigate getting our insurance company to help pay for the unit. The owner of the company performed the install himself. They were prompt, efficient and communicated all services and times extremely well. The second time I called Atlantic Services, Inc., we had experienced a water leak in our basement. The owner answered the phone himself and worked us into his schedule to come assess our heater the next day. In summary, we have been extremely pleased with our experiences with Atlantic and plan on calling them for our future heating and air conditioning needs.

Description of Work: Heater control board intermitten failure. Service experts gave an estimate for 16 yr old furnace replament, called Atlantic for comparison. Service person, had sales info. He could price out a replacement without a 3rd person. Went with atlantic from a friends recomendation. Atlantic did urge me to get another estimate.

Description of Work: I had a problem with my air conditioning not working. I called the company late yesterday afternoon and was able to make a convenient appointment for today between 7:30-8:00 AM. The service person arrived on time and checked out system out and found something wrong and made the repair. He got the system working right away and was even able to have the part replaced by warranty. He was very friendly and professional and was extremely honest.

Description of Work: This company has been servicing my HVAC since my home was new in 2006. They are WONDERFUL; personalized and professional service ALWAYS, they provide the service expected, in the timeframe expected and the price is right. You will not go wrong using this company.

Description of Work: Air conditioner not working - we had been told by another A/C repair company that the coil was bad in one of our units (they are only 6 years old) and a new coil would cost approximately $1700. I was suspicious of the diagnosis and called Atlantic Services after receiving a recommendation from a friend. Susan, the woman who took my call, was extremely helpful and apologetic that they would not be able to come take a look at my unit for 48 hours. They were swamped with calls during the first 95+ degree heat wave of the summer. We scheduled an appointment for noon and I asked that the serviceman call my cell before he got to my house so that I could meet him there. The day of the scheduled appointment the office called to let me know that the serviceman (Don) was running about an hour late, but would definitely call me when he was on his way. He did and we arrived at my house at the same time. He checked my unit over, filled it with coolant, and proceeded to check EVERY connection for leakage. He said that Lennox units are prone to leak at the connections and most of the time, either tightening or replacing the connectors is all that is required. He told me that my coil was absolutely fine and proceeded to tighten or replace the faulty connectors. I was quite impressed with his knowledge and the thoroughness with which he looked over my units - both inside the house and the outside unit. I was equally impressed with his modesty when I told him that he had just saved me about $1500. I've also never had a call from a company to let me know that the serviceman was running late.
