I am writing this unsolicited professional and character reference for Clay W McNabb, Owner of Arctic Blast Heating & Air Conditioning. I reached out to Mr McNabb several days ago because my parents were having issues with their rental property?s downstairs HVAC unit in Suwanee, GA, even after having another local HVAC company attempt to repair it. After talking with the current tenants, I discovered the other local HVAC company added 407c Freon to a system that had a major leak and replaced a perfectly good condensing fan motor with a used one- only to charge my parents full service rate. As you can imagine, the unit ran for about 4 hours and then quit blowing cool air. Fortunately, I happen to be a HVAC service technician in Philadelphia, PA with 4 years? experience and was able to weed through what the true underlining issues were. I believe my HVAC service experience and dealings with Mr. McNabb qualifies me to accurately represent Mr McNabb?s character altruistic in nature and personal accountability. Mr McNabb has been responsive and timely in his response in order to correct what the other HVAC company left in shambles. After thoroughly discussing with us all our options, we ended up having Arctic Blast Heating & Air Conditioning install a new Lennox unit for about the same price as I could have installed a Goodman unit from my wholesale account at Johnstone supply house. The install was started and completed within the timeframe specified, taking an ardent interest in curb appeal of the home as well as surrounding area. Mr McNabb?s attention to detail is routinely extraordinary, imbued with integrity as this seems to be the standard he and Arctic Blast Heating & Air Conditioning lives up to. There is no doubt that Mr McNabb and Arctic Blast Heating & Air Conditioning will follow through and provide an honest service. I found Mr McNabb to be one of the most engaging, respectful, and motivated individuals I have ever met. I have no reservation in giving them my highest personal and professional recommendation.

Clay showed up on time and did the work he promised.

It was a strange situation. I left the house on a very hot day for about three hours. When I returned, my air conditioning was not working. It had tripped off while I was out. The first company I called, one I had been using for years, did not respond or allow me to leave a message for a call-back, although they advertise 24/7 service. So I was really frustrated. I contacted Arctic Blast on the recommendation of a friend who uses them. The most important point: Arctic Blast responded quickly to my call even though it was on a weekend, and got a tech out that same day (Sunday), on a day when the temperatures were in the 90s. I am sure many people in Atlanta had air conditioning problems that day. The tech found a dead rodent inside my outside heat pump/unit. It has probably crawled in there and died somehow. He also adjusted the power switch on the outside of our building. Anyway, it came back on. He also checked the wiring and freon levels; they were good. He made some recommendations to me to keep the unit working as well as it can in this type of weather. Arctic Blast's tech was thorough, affordable, and most of all, their team was responsive. I find that in today's business world, too many people ignore messages. They don't respond quickly or make it easy to get through to them -- despite all the available ways to communicate with each other (email, web message, cell, voice mail, text). Arctic Blast's manager responded to my text message within minutes on a Sunday morning. He advised me and moved quickly so I would not have any undue delays. That tells me a lot about the way they operate their business. I will definitely use them in the future.

Clay , arrived he was very punctual, he was very polite. His knowledge of air conditioning is on point. he found the problem fixed it and my air conditioning was back up in no time. I was so happy I picked up that magagazine @ the YMCA and found his ad cause I've always wanted a honest trust worthy person in the business and I finally found him by the of Clay and the company Arctic Blast. After a tech from Theromo Tech failed to repair it, I called Clay and he came first thing Monday Morning and repaired my system. It only took him 15 minutes. Next time I'll call Artic Blast first and save money in the process. Excellent work!

I called Clay to schedule the service and he was very friendly but professional. We were able to identify an appointment time within a few business days that fit both of our schedules. Clay arrived a little early and got right to work. Did an effective job communicating what he was planning to do and his findings along the way. Identifying a couple of items that may require attention down the road. I shared with him that one of the units was making a loud squealing sound at times and he was able to hear it. Although the appt. was for an AC tune up he diagnosed the problem for me and let me know that the warranty should cover the cost. His recommendation was for me to contact the company that originally install the unit and have them follow up on the warranty work. However, he offered his assistance if I ran into some delays or challenges. Well I needed to take him up on that offer and within a week of letting him know my challenges, Clay stepped in , contacted the manufacture, and fixed the problem. At no additional cost to me ! Clay and Arctic Blast demonstrated great expertise and fantastic customer service for an issue that could have been very frustrating for me if I went with the other company. I would definitely recommend Arctic Blast to others and plan to use them for my future HVAC services

Everything went GREAT!! Bryan was AWESOME! He not only repaired my unit in a timely manner but also gave me great tips! He also took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing and why, which made me feel comfortable as a female with little knowledge of this type of repair. On their previous visit they corrected a lot of things my previous servicer had done wrong and got my system up and running again in less than two hours. These guys are VERY knowledgeable, honest, affordable, and provide truly excellent service. A customer for life!

Ive have been calling in Artic Blast for several years now. Clay has always been very quick and responsive. Ive had them come out and do work on a few different properties. The first time I called them out, I thought I was going would need a new unit. However, Clay looked over our situation and recommended a less expensive option. He could have up sold us, but instead saved us quite a bit of money. That was about 7 years ago. Ive been using them ever since. Artic Blast is extremely trustworthy... which I believe is the most important factor in choosing a company to work on your home.

Called Clay with emergency after head stopped working was late in the evening ,he was there the next morning ready to repair but the unit was old and he found it was leaking carbon monoxide so we decided to replace everything and agreed on price and he finished everything by early afternoon everything was compleated to my satisfaction, would not hesitate to call again and recomend his service to any of my family or friends .

During the first cold snap of the winter our furnance was not coming on. It was very cold and I have small children. So I Called Artic Blast explained what was happening Clay told me on the phone what the culprit probably was. He promptly came out and found the problem. It was exactly what he thought and gave a quote right there. With the part being part specific. He said he would have to got to the supply house and get it. He returned shortly. I mean it really didnt take long at all. When he returned he had the part installed and furnace in service quick ( in what seemed like maybe 10mins). Our furnace has worked perfectly ever since. I would highly recommend ArticBlast and Clay. He was very personable, knowledgeable and professional.

Artic Blast Heating & Air Conditioning has always been my "go to" for all things HVAC. I've used them for many years. The staff is always courteous, clean, knowledgeable and prices are very fair.

I called thinking I needed freon and Clay came out and looked at my unit and realized that I did not need that it was just my compressor that went out. Clay was very helpful and he answered all my questions and he told me that he could be out between 11-12 and he was here right at 11am. Arctic Blast replaced one of our units 6 years ago and we were happy to call them a 2nd time. Their prices were great and saved us a lot of money. They arrived early to the appointment, maintained a clean working area and got our new furnace and a/c unit installed in no time! The installers were very friendly and knowledgeable and showed us how to use the new thermostat. We would not hesitate to refer them to our friends and neighbors!

ly, and when he left I asked him how much did I owe him for coming out, he said nothing, I was suprised!, but he said it's ok and to remember him when it quit working, which it did 2 weeks later...I called him and he came out 2/27 and installed a new heater unit and made sure everything was in place and done properly...He did not leave until he knew it was coming on and working correctly and effeciently...Clay is an upfront, honest person and gives 100% to his customers...I would highly recommend them.
