All State Movers

Horrible. Showed up late, in a Penske Rental truck, already had someone else's goods on the front of their truck (took up about 1/4 of the truck. A one day move turned into a 3 day move. They did not wrap most of our furniture, damaged or broke several items. We made a claim on a damaged antique table. Our first and second call they were responsive and said they would send a check. Check never came, they put subsequent calls on hold and never picked up, then blocked our phone so calls would not go through. I didn't understand about payment cash since this was not mentioned in advance (but was in small print on contract) it was a weekend and I could not get all money from the ATM so they held our goods on the truck overnight until the bank opened Monday morning. Even with the cash misunderstanding aside it was horrible experience. Never Again Just this morning we received a response through the Better Business Bureau of Georgia with a note from AllState Movers saying they have re-evaluated our claim on the broken table and will now send a check in the amount of $225 rather than the $75 they originally indicated. At that time they said they would put a $75 check in the mail, but it has never been received. And they would not return our calls. We hope the $225 check is really put in the mail and we receive it. The $225 is one-half the amount of the repair quote.
