Great ! The team was very focus - did a good job !

We had done some research on Angie's List and made an appointment to see what they had available. Our contact was Dipti who walked us through a large selection of granite slabs. As we indicated interest she made a note so they could be included in the estimate. After looking at the samples Paresh spent time explaining the process and making us comfortable with the company. As a final part of the selection process they took representative slabs of granite and put them on a cabinet similar to ours. Seeing this we changed our mind about our selection. Ironically the new selection was less expensive than the first, they made no attempt to try and "sell up". The appointment for making the template was prompt and as scheduled. The next day we went back to the shop where they laid the template on the actual slab so we could make adjustments. A week later, as scheduled, our new counter tops were installed. The team did an excellent job removing the old and installing the new as well as cleaning up. We used a plumber from their recommended list who charged a flat rate to reinstall the plumbing the next day. The entire process went very well and we are pleased with the results.

We're in the process of renovating our kitchen and decided to go with granite countertops instead of an engineered stone. So, I spent considerable time here on Angie's List, other web sites, big box stores, as well as talking to neighbors about the pros/cons of granite as well as identifying some of the better granite companies in the area. After much research, I narrowed down my choices to four companies in the Atlanta area and A A Marble & Granite was the definite winner. From our first visit at their office with Paresh, Tom and Jay... to the template layout and installation with Kaylor (sp?) the entire process was very professional and enjoyable. My wife and I never felt pressured to buy. Tom took his time with us in the granite yard as we tried to decide on a specific granite from the multitude of slabs that they had available on site. (Other companies talked about having a large selection, but we were often disappointed at the limited selection they had when we visited). Back in the office, Paresh and Tom spent time showing us samples inn their showroom, explained how they deal with seams, and took the time to answer all of our questions. You might be saying "So what's the big deal... all companies do this" Well, the other companies we visited didn't do this. Some were unable to answer our questions about the properties of granite, some had 'showroom displays' where the seams were noticeable and uneven! And others seemed frustrated that we took our time looking at the slabs they had available. I found that point rather strange since that is part of their job. Anyway, we decided to go with A A not because of their price (which was very competitive) but because of their professionalism, the care they showed to my wife and I, and to be honest... how good a job they can do hiding seams, which was important to us since we had an L-shaped counter on one end of the kitchen. When Kaylor came out to template our kitchen, we asked him for some 'counter' ideas for our new island, because one end was fairly close to an existing wall. I would have taken the wall out if possible, but it contained most of the electrical wiring going down to the panel in the basement. He came up with a great design that allowed ample room to walk between the countertop and wall and still give us sufficient space on that end of the island. To be honest, the way he templated that counter, we ended up with more counter space than we thought was possible. my wife was extremely happy! The following week (today) Kaylor came out and installed our countertops and they look FANTASTIC! He arrived at 8:30 am as promised and the entire job was done in 2 1/2 hours. The island has a cut-out for a gas cooktop and downdraft vent which both fit like a glove, and he also installed the SS sink that we purchased from A A. My wife walked over to the corner of the L-shaped counter to look for the seam and it took her a few minutes to find it. It's just amazing how well they handled the seam. Overall, we are extremely happy with the end result. A A has a great staff of professionals who care about you and want to make sure you're happy with the final product. When we work on our bath, we will definitely head back to A A Marble & Granite. I plan to post some before and after pictures in the next two weeks.

In addition to our previous comments, we wanted to say that AA Marble & Granite was also very helpful with other parts of updating our kitchen. Although we already had picked out our appliances at another store, AA Marble & Granite had a list of vendors who might be helpful. This list included a person who sold Sears appliances for commercial customers. We contacted her and gave her the model numbers of our desired appliances. She not only gave us lower prices but offered free delivery However, she did not have one appliance in stock that we needed Also, her installation prices were much higher. We took her prices to our store where they were quickly matched. AA Marble & Granite also had a vendor who did all of the installations of our appliances for a flat fee. Not only was that a fair price but everything was installed at once the day after the granite was installed. We also thought it important that we were charged for the square footage that was used and that we didn't have to purchase whole slabs as some of our friends had done. We would definitely recommend AA Marble & Granite to others. They were delightful to work with ... and all work was done timely with a pleasant demeanor and with great precision including updating the supports for our snack bar!

I have mixed feelings about AA Marble and Granite. During my first visit I was assisted by a salesperson by the name of Jim. He was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions without being pushy. They have an incredible selection of granite and their sample countertop in the showroom showed their expertise when having to put in a top with a seam. We needed countertops for 2 separate bathrooms. I returned another time with my husband to narrow down our choices. Since I did not make an appointment with Jim, I was assisted by Dipta (sp?), who was not as knowledgeable as Jim. We were looking at granite slabs and turned to ask her a question but she had disappeared. Someone else came to assist us and when we asked where Dipta went, he said that she had to help someone else. She never said a word to us?.just disappeared. I took pictures of the our two choices and we were able to get a quote. One slab of granite was St. Helena with a particular demarcation, which we were quoted at $35.00/sq. ft., the other was Giallo Ornamental at $49.50/sq. ft. Both quotes were in writing. I received a phone call from Jim asking if there was anything he could help us with and I told him that I would be back over the weekend to make a decision. Two days later I got a phone call from Dipta to ask if we had any questions, I assured her that Jim was taking care of us. She then asked if I could recommend a nanny service. I told her that we did not use a nanny but I?m sure I could ask around and she responded that we lived so far away that any recommendations would probably not service the same area. I thought it was a strange phone call. When we returned a week later to make a purchase on our choices, we were told that Jim was no longer with them. We changed our selection for the sinks we wanted to purchase so Dipta gave us a new quote. The original quote on the St. Helena at $35/sq. ft. was raised to $45/sq. ft. I told my husband that I didn?t feel comfortable committing to our selections with the quote change. The following Monday I called Dipta to question the rate change and she said that it was a different slab. Well, I had already taken pictures because the St. Helena had a particular demarcation that we wanted to avoid and it was not a different slab. She said that the price stood at $45/sq. ft. We went back one more time to make sure and it was the same original slab and if that we were quote at $35.00 and compared my pictures. It was the same one with the notable demarcation. We decided to take our business elsewhere. We really liked dealing with Jim and Paresh, we liked the selection of granite and I believe they would have done a great job. However, we did not appreciate the inconsistent service from Dipta and the increase in price by $10/sq. ft. For those reasons, we opted to buy our granite from another supplier.

I cannot say enough good things about this outfit. They are complete professionals. My wife and I were planning to remodel our master bathroom to include new granite countertops, and probably some marble or granite tile as well. If you've looked around, you know there is a bewildering array of people doing this sort of work - the choices of which firm to pick are seemingly endless. We found AA Marble & Granite completely by chance. We had driven quite a ways up I-85 and were returning back down towards the perimeter. I remembered that a lot of these types of furniture/remodeling outfits are located along that corridor, not far from P'tree Industrial, so I set my phone to search for a granite retailer along the freeway, and it offered up AA Marble & Granite. We stopped in (it was a weekend), and found ourselves talking with the owner himself. He could tell we were serious but also just at the beginning of our project, so he took us around his shop and spent plenty of time with us - including out back to the storage/cutting area itself - answering our many questions. As it turns out, other things in our house intervened, needing attention (and money), so we will likely have to put off the master bath project until next year. But we also had an old octagonal stone table that we used to use as a kitchen table but wanted to cut down smaller and make into a coffee table for our living room. When we went back to AA, they weren't at all put out that we weren't able to do the larger project we'd talked about, and took on the smaller job of cutting down our old table cheerfully. When I delivered the table to them, it took quite a bit longer than I'd expected....but that's because they were genuinely, almost obsessively concerned with making sure they could do it without damaging it, and checking how best to do it. It was obvious even to my non-expert eyes that they ARE experts...and the results of our newly-smaller (and now round!) table confirm it. In the end, we didn't spend nearly what we'd anticipated spending, and we didn't have done what we'd planned to have done....but we got a wonderful result on a much smaller project, and what's more: we now know exactly who will be handling the much more expensive bathroom remodel (at least the stone aspect of it) for us, when we get ready to do it next spring. AA was FANTASTIC, start to finish. Seriously: I feel NO need to even look anywhere else.

The interior surface of the granite (the one which is coming in touch with the content of the cabinets) was very dirty at the arrival.

It turned out very good. The work was great. Over time some of the granite had become separated and they came right out and were able to fix it for us, which I thought was a very nice follow.

It was good. We were very happy with the man who did the installations especially, but everyone was good. They really did a good job and we almost couldn’t believe how good of a job they did, it was great. We were happy with how they communicated with us and it was beautiful work. They made different suggestions to help us out, but we never felt like they were trying to sell us.

They did a very nice job and I would highly recommend them. They did everything they said they were going to do when they said they were going do it, and it was a great job. I am very satisfied.

It turned out fantastic and it is really really nice. They were very patient; they did their job, and did a great job. The pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to the other companies we got estimates from.

In the end it turned out well. There were some rough areas along the way but everything worked out. They had to come back to clean up some imperfections and they made everything right in the end.

It turned out really good and they did excellent. We were very pleased with the work and it was a good value for the money.

EXCEPTIONAL Quality and Customer Service!!! Paresh and all the staff at AA Marble & Granite have an exceptional commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. The work was completed promptly and it looks absolutely gorgeous! Our kitchen has been reinvented and it is beautiful! Paresh spent a significant amount of time helping pick out the perfect granite to match my recently renovated kitchen and had lots of great suggestions for everything from new faucets to the perfect backsplash. He and all his staff are very knowledgeable. With this company you get so much more than just installation --- you get a remarkably rare level of customer service, craftsmanship, and genuine concern that the end product is a work of art. I forgot to mention that our contractor is the one who recommended them as she had used them on several other jobs and she had good experience with them every time. They have so much choice there at their showroom and some of the slabs are drop dead gorgeous, like a piece of art. We were left in awe. The more common color slabs that they have there are also stunningly beautiful and have so much vibrance. We HIGHLY recommend AA Marble & Granite! They are one of the best companies I've ever dealt with and plan to use them for future bathroom upgrades. They are exceptional! Jaime Smith

This firm is outstanding! The most professional firm I have ever seen in any line of work and as a retired CPA I've seen many. The order process was very easy and the salesperson was with us throughout the process. Delivery and installation was made simple. The coordination between granite, plumbing and tile was excellent.

I have had a very good experience with them. I would recommend them to anybody. I felt they were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. What they presented was actually delivered.
