Rarely does a moving company (or any company) take the time to check in mid service, yet these folks did. Not only that, each of the movers offered their hand, introduced themselves, thanked me for hiring them, smiled and was friendly. They finished in the alloted time and were extremely helpful. I am not easy to win over but these guys have done it and I highly recommend. Great job and thank you again!

Very badly. I had to change my moving dates a couple of times and was charged $10 more per hour for each change. I've moved many times in my life and never have had to do such a thing. Additional expenses were added at the end of the move. Movers were average. This move was way more than I expected and would never use them again or recommend them.

They were AMAZING! I would highly recommend them to ANYBODY that needs to use movers. The price quoted was exactly what I paid. They were on time, efficient, and highly detail oriented. They even when as far a wrapping my furniture to make sure there was no scratches, they broke down and re set up my bed and moved all my furniture around in my new how until I was happy where it was places. The two gentlemen that came out were just that, gentlemen. Next time I move you can guarantee that I will be calling TakeAway movers to come out again!!

Instead of using a hand truck (which they had) to move the refridgerator, they chose to drag it out of the house across the hardwood flooring. This left scratches and gouges which ruined my floor. They tracked black grease in on the their shoes onto the carpet in every carpeted room in the old house and three locations in my new house. They sent someone to clean the grease from the carpets in the old residence but when the carpet dried it was so streaked from the cleaning chemicals that the carpet had to be replaced. They brought a young man out to repair the hardwood flooring who had never repairing engineered hardwoods before. He stopped by the local Home Depot on the way, bought a tube of wood filler and some sandpaper expecting to sand the flooring as a repair. Their customer sevice lady is very rude, overtalked me when I was trying to have a telephone conversation with her and fabricated untruths regarding both my and my wife's telephone conversations with her. She claims that we gave them permission to destroy our old residence which is rediculous, nobody woud ever tell a mover such a thing. I have made multiple requests to obtain evidence the she actually submitted a claim to their insurance company. I get nothing but excuses and missed promises to send a copy of their submission to my email. I would not recommend these movers to anyone for anything.

I had a horrible experience with TakeAway Movers, LLC . They dropped and scratched several items. The team leader was Shun Wilson and he had 3 other men with him to move my items. They arrived on April 29th 2013 45 minutes late and started moving items at 7:15 pm with an end time of 2:30 AM. When my family and I expressed concerns as to how Mr. Wilson and his team dropped my washer and rammed it into the wall. Mr. Wilson become very agitated, defensive, and aggressive. He refused to finish the job of the remaining items still left at my prior residence. Therefore, I ended up having to call Two Men & a Truck to finish the job. Surprsingly, Mr. Wilson (team leader) stated he felt they did an ok job. However, one of his crew members admitted to my father and I that the crew had done a poor job with moving my items, as they were tired and overworked from a long day. Per TakeAways Movers, LLC policy, I have submitted a damage report with photos to the company within 48 hours of the event with no return response. The following items were dropped and/or scratched china closet ($1600 value), washer ($375 value), damaged kitchen chair ($150 value), scratched dresser drawer ($400 value), damaged wall in wash room ($75 value), and scratch bed ($1100 value). Buyers beware...I would definitely not recommend!!!
