Dishonest. Price Gougers. Was charged 89.00 trip charge. Cody replaced a thermostat (Honeywell Programmable) that I had bought at Ace Hardware for 31.00. When it came time to pay he said $246.00. I said, For what? He said $175.00 for the 30 minutes It took to replace the thermostat plus the trip charge. I asked him to lower that and he charged me 177.00. VP would not give any more discount when I told his secretary that Cody didn't quote me 175.00 when he was about to replace it. VP or any manager would not speak to me. Thieves!

Got charged $685 dollars for them being here less than 20 minutes. 1 - 40 amp contact (less than $20 on Amazon, approx $30 retail in a store front) Charged $214 1- turbo 200 capacitor ($125 at home Depot) Charged $382 Diagnostic - $89 Even if they charged 2 hours of labor.. 1 for travel and one for labor, marked up their parts 50% ... The total would be $479 They slipped a bill in on my wife because it was Friday, end of the day.. we didn't have ac. $685 We got ripped off If I could give negative stars, I would. I fully intend on filling complaints with the federal trade commission, and office of consumer affairs as well as taking them to small claims court for deceptive and unfair business practices.

Good work in timely matter

They are good. At one point there was an incident that happened and it really upset me. They came the day I needed them to come. I have an ongoing relationship with this company. This is not my first time I had dealt with them, and we?d had some other things, it took me some time. They worked it out so, I don?t want to be critical or anything. (Don?t put this in there please, it?s like they come out to look at something and I asked them if they manufactured something called a mask, which is a metal piece that goes up over my electrical server. The man picked it up and he took it to his company, he was the owner, and I guess he laid it on his desk and then forgot about it. Well, eventually, they threw it away. After I went back several times and called and called and wasn?t able to get ahold of him, this went on for over a year, and I was like okay. Finally, my son went and I was finally able to get ahold of somebody and talk to him again and he realized what had happened and finally, it did take them time, but finally they did make me a new one and they did actually charge me for since I?d been without one for a while. I said over a year, but they picked it up in late Fall of last year, maybe say September/October because it was right after a tree fell on our house in July or end of June. I know they picked it up in that time frame because they came out to look at one of our other A/C units. Then it took them, well, I ain?t had it back that long. They came and put it up and didn?t charge me for it, so I really appreciate the fact that they didn?t charge me I just didn?t like the fact that I had to do without for so long, but in the long run it worked out to my benefit so patience is a virtue as they say). They were great. Overall, they were exceptional. The pricing was reasonable and they were very professional. They were punctual and honest. They identify the problem quickly and fix it up as soon as possible.

RAS did fine inspecting the AC system, but when we were told that Mr. Patterson would have to give us a quote for replacing the insulation around the ducts (which had fallen off due to water damage from a broken pipe), Mr. Patterson missed his first appointment, and I only realized he missed it because I called asking for the results of the visit. I have called 3 times asking for a quote for insulation replacement, and I still have not heard back as of today, 9/28/13. I am now searching for another company that can quote and replace the insulation on our AC.

Previously, we had hired someone who was not professional and had some issues. We decided to look for somebody who could come out pretty quickly and who seemed to have a better track record. We looked online for reviews, and that is how we found them. They were a little bit pricey but were still very good. It was worth the money in our case. They came and fixed the unit but it broke down again within 24 hours - they had said that it probably would. So then they took all the charges that they had applied for the fixing of the unit and applied it towards the new air conditioning unit. They helped me out a lot. I was sick and newly pregnant, and they even brought me a temporary air conditioner to use in the bedroom for a couple of days. They did a great job. It was definitely pricey. I didn’t know that it was going to be a lot pricier at another place because I think I called around a little too. It is just hard to swallow $6000, no matter who we are giving it to, and I don’t know that it is necessarily them. When they came out the first time, it was in the middle of the night - a Saturday night - and they did charge a little extra for that, but we still got the service immediately. It was worth it. Moreover, it was a tax rebate but we haven’t got the tax rebate yet. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

Chad was very professional and easy going. Easy to talk to but very professional. He was knowledgeable, and able to complete the job on the spot. After testing a few circuits and parts on the external unit, he diagnosed the problem as a bad resistor that was no longer even needed. Chad re-routed the circuit around the obsolete resistor, and got the unit running again. He topped off the freon, and was able to keep the bill under 200 dollars even with the cost of freon.

You know when you have the air conditioner on but it still reads 83degrees? Well, that happened on a Thursday, and after calling one company and not hearing back from them for 2 days, I went online and got the 800 number for Ray and Son. I was called back immediately and someone was out here within about 30 minutes! Wade fixed the AC to where it would work for a while so we could at least be comfortable before making a decision on if I wanted the part to be replaced now or sometime in the future. He gave me an approximate price and I went ahead and had him replace the contactor. He was very nice and extremely professional and I'm sticking with Ray and Son because they were so prompt in returning my call. I advise anyone to get ahold of the company's 800 number if available, and not a direct cell phone where you have to leave a message.
