Nature of repair required $50 parts and 3 hrs laborcleaning condensing unit with garden hose = $900....would seem to be somewhat over the top. Am I right? Could have at least changed my filters.

I myself am a certified a/c tech who just don't have the money to buy all the expensive equipment at the moment but knew generally the problem with my system. When Chris Maynes came out to fix my system he did speedy him self around and say nothing was wrong with system, he took his time check everything possible as I would of as a tech should coils, electrical, vents, air flows, ducts, etc. once done gave us our offers of choice and continued on with repair. and of course I was correct on the need of more refrigerant, due to his check he was able to tell we need a strong start capacitor for our compressor. with all repair our ac has been running strong and cool. so Chris is as far as I a homeowner and don't work for a/c company but a licensed technician, he is honest, very thorough, and kind.

I called these guys after hours last night technician Chris maynes came out found the problem explained the issues and explained the choices I had to fix my unit and had my unit up and running within the hour, I am a satisfied customer and for the future these are the guys I will call and highly recommend. Chris was professional and curtious. Thanks
