Red flags from the start; I should never have hired them. One of the owners responded to my call and was overly casual and unprofessional on the phone. I had to drive three hours to meet him, and then he wanted to reschedule our meeting because of a light, misting drizzle. When I got him to come out, we discussed the removal of several trees and large bushes around the property, but he didn't take any notes and didn't prepare any paperwork. He quoted me a price that I thought was reasonable, based on past tree service I have had done, and told me they could do the work within two weeks. The timing was very important for me, as I was trying to get the house on the market for sale. He also told me he would prepare and send me an invoice/proposed work order and that he would put me in touch with another service provider to do some clearing of underbrush I wanted done (and for which Trees & More did not have the correct equipment). I never received any paperwork nor any referral to another service provider. Three weeks went by, with no service. I called to ask as to the status of the job, and the owner had trouble remembering me and my location. When I reminded him, he couldn't remember the specifics of the tree service I wanted, despite spending about an hour with me on site. He gave me some excuse about his firm being really successful and busy, and that they scheduled their jobs in local clusters, so maybe that's why they hadn't gotten to me yet. He promised that they would complete the job shortly. Almost another three weeks went by with no word from Trees & More or the owner, and no work done. I called back and received the same excuses. When I reminded him that I hired him because he had promised the work would be done within two weeks -- and we were now about a month behind schedule -- he told me again that the firm tried to schedule a job when there were other jobs nearby. Now, I'm in Macon, not out in the boonies somewhere. When I pressed him for specifics, he could not give me a specific date on which the work would be done. He could not even confirm that the work would be done within the next several weeks. He also no longer remembered what work needed to be done, so I was not confident at all that he would appear on site and remove the correct trees even when he did bother to show up. Plus, the owner with whom I spoke apparently decided that it would be fine to use racist slurs and to volunteer out of nowhere his negative attitudes towards black people in general and in Macon specifically when having conversations with me. I finally cancelled the service I had booked, after wasting nearly a month and a half and putting me way behind schedule in my plan to stage the house for sale. Avoid these unprofessional and unreliable people.
Description of Work: I needed several trees removed from my yard (and the stumps ground down or removed) in preparation for staging a house for sale. I also inquired about clearing some wooded underbrush from a portion of the backyard. Since I'm preparing for a sale, the timeliness of the work was a priority for me.

These guys are amazing! Took down four oak trees and left no trace of their existence! One of the trees was growing into a power line and they took care of it without any problems. In addition, they took down a fence so they could grind some old stumps for me and then put the fence back up! All of this for $400 less than my next closest quote! Long story short, these guys rock, don't hesitate to call them! The only downside is there are very busy so it may take a while.
Description of Work: Remove four medium oak trees plus grind some small stumps.

Description of Work: They cut 3 trees right beside my house and 3 trees by my shop that was over my shop. They do good work and have the best price. I had two other tree companies look and give me a price, one want $3,000 and the other one wanted $2,400. Trees and More did it for $1,200. So I will use Trees & More again !

i had 2 medium sized trees and one very large tree removed from my property. the small ones were much cheaper than expected but the large one was much more than expected considering how risky the first two were at that price still about 1200 cheaper than one other guy i had give me a quote. very prepared with a 70 ft boom truck, huge chipper, powerful stump grinder, etc. it was tough getting him out here to do the job because of delays but we did have a rain/snow issue the first and second time he said he would be out so i cant really fault him on that one.

Description of Work: Low price, low class, NO SHOW. The owner came out to give an estimate to remove 3 trees. After a day or two I called back. He had an excuse for not calling sooner (there was my sign). He had a very competative price, so I accepted his bid but he could not initially give me a start date - and that was okay. He called 2 days ago and said he would be here Friday. I have a fenced in back yard and the job could only be accessed from my neighbors drive way. So now my whole side fence is down, dogs running around, my neighbor parked down the street (they have been very gracious, and the are HANDICAPPED) and this guy is a no call no show. Don't waste your time.
