AAA Quality Upholstery And Trim

year and a half ago.I took my 2003 Infiniti QX4 to this ploace first about a year and a half ago to have the damaged upholstery replaced. They did a good job but I quickly discovered that the material they used did not wear well. In June of this year, I brought the car back to them to show them that the upholstery, supposedly bonded leather, showed extreme wear at the seams and was ripped in several places. They expressed shock and told me that they would replace all of it without cost. However, their story changed when I attempted to schedule an appointment to bring the car by several days later. After weeks of delay, they finally agreed to take the car. It sat at their place for weeks before I finally got it back and when I saw the work that had been done, I was shocked! The recovery process was VERY poor, with crooked seams and parts left unfinished. When I returned the car to them to get these things fixed, the owner and his son became verbally abusive and threatening. They also told me that the price was $500, not the $400 they had previously quoted. I pointed out that work that I was paying for had not been completed and they told me that it would cost me more money to get those things fixed. I left, and came back with my husband. At that point, I was willing to pay the extra just to get the car fixed so I could sell it, but the owner and his son became even MORE abusive, even in front of my husband, and outright threatening. FInally, they went inside, got the extra fabric from the upholstery job, threw it at me, and told me to go elsewhere. I will never ever use these people for home or auto upholstery again, and I can never recommend them to anyone. Their work is sloppy and they will not stand behind it. Further, they delay unnecessarily and are unprofessional with dealing with people who are unhappy with the results. I have since gone to another car upholstery place where all the work will have to be redone because of its poor quality. This will end up costing me more money and I sincerely hope that this time it will be right.
