The Garage Door Guy

10April2019, Jimmy and his apprentice replaced my original garage door (16x7) with an upgraded one (factory tinted windows and R17 insulation!) that I purchased through him. I have not had any issues with the operation of the door which included new rails. The opener was not replaced. I gave him a deposit which equaled half the total price of the project. He was very clear that the upgraded door would cost more than getting a like-for-like replacement. He gave me a one year Parts & Labor warranty. I will do business with Jimmy again and have already recommended him to my neighbors.

Couldn't have gone much better. Same day service. Worked quickly and effeciently to modify the arm connecting the door to the rail while fielding all of my questions. Very polite and thorough while sweating through his shirt.

He came out right away and fixed the problem.

He came out the next day and finished the job quickly within an hour. They are very responsive.

Jimmy was punctual and professional. When replacing the opener he noticed and mentioned that the springs on the door would likely not last much longer because they were small and not meant to lift heavy, wooden doors. These small springs had been put on my door three years earlier by a garage door company in Athens. Ever since that time, the door would not catch when opened and would slide partly back down. With the new much larger springs the door opens fully and more easily.

Jimmy was on time, communicative, and installation was quick and cleanly done. No overselling.

Jimmy quickly returned my calls, answered my questions and scheduled my job. He arrived and had our new door installed and operating in a little over two hours. He explained how to keep it operating smoothly and for a long life. I got several bids and he saved me over $400 as compared to the most expensive. Highly recommended!
