+ -1 moreJeff presented himself as the only licensed sinkhole contractor in the state of Georgia. The sinkhole was deeper than expected so he asked for more money. We gave it to him and when all was said and done, we paid him more than $6000 over the contract amount of $15,000, but he demanded $19,000 more! ($40,000 total!) When we told him we wouldn't pay, he stopped and didn't finish the work. Though the hole is adequately filled, the appearance of our backyard is horrible. He killed almost all of the shrubbery (and never put them in any containers other than garbage bags), never repaired the sprinkler system, ruined our driveway with his RENTED equipment, used lousy seed for the lawn (and it has all died), and generally not fulfilled his contract. PLUS, he didn't pay at least one of his contractors and they called us for payment. This contractor did some research and found out that Jeff Harrison has done this before. He has threatened to pull out all his work. Lousy work! Stay AWAY!!!!
Description of Work: This was a large sinkhole repair. He put in the contract that he would dig out the hole, refill it with compacted soil, put all of our shrubs and trees in containers and replant them when the hole was filled, re-seed, etc.
