Did a great job installing the trim. Even found that we had a gas leak next to our fireplace.

The Work quality was extremely poor. I hired him to replace rotted wood on the deck which included 14 6 by 6 columns and column caps, 12 Deck rail segments, including rail tops and bottoms. PVC was to be placed around the outside bottom of the deck, And the deck bench was to be replaced. The deck rail tops, and bench were to be beveled. to round the edges and improve appearance. Where to begin? The columns were not installed straight, the columns were not cut to the proper height and the tops were not cut evenly. The deck rails were not cut evenly or the correct length, resulting in large gaps between the rail tops and columns. in addition, rail tops attached to the columns at different heights. The bench was uneven, and the bench legs were crooked, and bot evenly spaced. Proper hardware (nails, screws, bolts, etc.) was not used and in some cases not used at all. As a result, the deck rails are not securely attached and are shaky and unsafe. The PVC Was not cut properly, and in some cases not attached to the beck base, resulting in gaps between the PVC and deck base. It became clear that this contractor was not qualified to do the work. We are in the process of hiring another contractor, but the work is so poor that all the wood will have to be removed and rebuilt from scratch! I will never use this contractor again and would not recommend him for any job whatsoever.

I cannot say enough about this crew! Goodson Construction arrived in a timely manner to get all my repairs done without a hitch. We had to have major repairs done to multiple areas of our home and each area was done with precision and consideration. My family had high hopes for what our home would look like after and this crew outdid themselves! We have additional work that we are looking into doing and we will be using Goodson Construction LLC for that work as well.
