PK Masonry

PK Masonry did a wonderful job on the leveling and tile, and we wouldn't hesitate to have him come back again. Always courteous and with good communication, it was a pleasure.

I looked through a lot of companies and individuals before I found PK, who did exactly what I wanted, needed and asked.

This is the second time that we have had PK Masonry complete a job for us. As before, he did a wonderful job - has a great eye for detail, and cares about the job he does. The work involved adding brickwork where we needed smaller openings in existing brickwork.

PK did a wonderful job on our project. We really appreciate the extra time he took and his attention to detail. Thank you!

Pete arrived on time, got to work and did an excellent job. Stairs look like they always should have been there. He was fast and very pleasant to speak with and he cleaned up everything. Not an experience I have had with other contractors. I would hands down use him again for any stone/concrete work.

Excellent! Pete gave me a detailed overview of what he would be doing--confirmed start time and completed the project on time. This was particularly challenging as I had encaustic tile and old surrounds which required specific layouts and measures around old fireplaces and old mantles. He was courteous, professional, and very precise. I also had a brick foundation which needed to be filled in and an outside chimney which needed work and he did everything I needed. Highly recommend for any brick, tile or masonry work. Thank you, Pete for your patience and precision.

Very good work done by Pete. Seemed a bit expensive when the final quote was confirmed but excellent quality job that was difficult and will last probably longer than the house itself.

I was looking around the web for a brick mason in my area and saw some pictures of Pete's work. I have had other projects where someone came out and gave an estimate and the people showing up to work were folks I had never seen before. Pete came out and gave me an estimate and told me when he was available. When the time came to start the job Pete was the guy doing the work. I don't normally write reviews but for this I have to say thanks again to Pete for completing my job.

Pete did an excellent job. I was very pleased with his overall work and professionalism. He was always willing to take the time out to answer all my questions to ensure that I would get everything I wanted. He also completed the project a day earlier than expected while making sure the finished project was perfect.

Professional. Punctual. The addition looks better than the original! Very pleased and will use again!

Ripped out stand up shower and replaced with a tub. Tile with custom pattern all around tub and tile flooring. Beadboard on walls with custom trim plus accessories including new lighting. Installed vanity, mirror, toilet. Even did custom shelving in the closet! The turn out was way beyond expectation! Everytime I turn on the light in that bathroom it still takes my breath away.

They did an excellent job. They didn't argue with me when I asked for the wall to be over engineered. The footing was sound, well built and neatly done. The CMU was laid with care for nice straight lines and solid joints. All together I didn't have a single issue with the work they performed.

Pete did beautiful work repairing the fascia of my home, finding matching bricks and patching a hole so you can't even tell it was there. He also repaired some planter boxes and walkways. Totally satisfied.

Pete did a fantastic job. I was impressed with his thoroughness and commitment. The job was done on time at exactly the estimated costs.

PK Masonry (Pete) is very personable and easy to talk to and his work is outstanding. We have given Pete simple sketches in which he turned into CMU canvasses for our product applications. The first walls Pete constructed for us over three years ago are still in use today. I personally recommend PK Masonry to several businesses and will use PK Masonry again.

It went very well, Pete did an excellent job rebuilding the fireplace in brick. I would certainly recommend him for any masonry work.

This job was done extremely well, with attention to detail in both the actual work and attention to the way the finished product would look. Pete is a craftsman and does his work in a way to achieve the best possible result. He is careful and neat. I didn't think people like Pete existed anymore. He takes pride in his work and in satisfying his customer. I was lucky to have found him. My walkway is in a cluster neighborhood and I wanted the neighbors to like the result too. They do. Pete went and looked for brick for the job and came up with brick that matched beautifully with the surrounding brick. Masonry is hard work and he does it as well as it can be done. If you want a quality job, hire him. He's worth every penny he charges. He left the job site spotless.

First, he came on time for estimate. .Made comment he could do work immediately....because his other job , being outside was too cold to do. when he did come back 10 days later and got cold again, the inside job of putting tile on hearth and fireplace face, was now do-able. When he arrived on time and resurveyed job, he now thought it was more work and the price went up $350.00. Which we agreed on. When I said , for that extra price , it has to be perfect. He had a smoke and then decided he would not guarantee or be responsible for finish. Needless to say......What a delay and waste of my time .

He was there when he said he would be there. In his prep work, he had to remove some cabinets and large window. He framed the area where the old fireplace was. He had build a footer for the chimney. The same brick as the rest of the house was used for the chimney. You would never know that the house wasn't originally built with this chimney. On the inside, a stack stone was used to cover the wall of the fireplace. When working inside, he took care as to not damage the hardwood floors. At the end of each day, he cleaned up the area where he was working. He was very courteous and professional.

Pete was prompt in replying to the request through Angie's List and showed up at the agreed upon time. He diagnosed the problem and suggested an inexpensive fix. He also explained that this might not pass an inspection and gave me a ballpark figure in the event we have to do a more extensive repair. I'll definitely give him a call to do the bigger job if it becomes necessary.

all went well, they were pleasant, eager to please
