It went really well. Both jobs were done brilliantly, and he was very professional and friendly. The thing that threw me off a bit was that he was very much a stickler for getting in at 8:30am to get started working. Not necessarily a bad thing, but since all the other people I've had come do work on the house ask me what times are good for me, it just kinda surprised me. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone--just be ready for an early start to the day. The only thing I didn't like about the jobs was the fact that he didn't cut down the new screws he used on the toilet. So, now the little covers can't cover them. Which is not a big deal, I can cut those down later.

Pete removed some chipped mortar and repointed on various parts of my home, and was able to match the mortar color.

The company I work for needed a CMU wall built to test exterior products on. When I called PK Masonry, after calling two other company?s and getting recordings, Pete answered the phone, I introduced myself and asked him a simple question, how small of a job is too small? His response was ?no job is too small?. I explained to him what I needed within a couple of hours he responded with a verbal quote, I won?t give the actual price because it wouldn?t be fair to Pete, but when I repeated what I thought he had quoted me he chuckled and said ?I wish, but I can?t? charge you that much it?s not a fair price. Sometimes in the world we live in today, fast paced, high prices, and a lack pride in workmanship can result in subpar work and exaggerated prices. ?Not!? with Pete, called him on a Tuesday and Pete himself completed the CMU wall on Thursday with a more than fair prices. Even though the job was rather small and for this project to get completed in such a short timeframe Pete got me a few ?atta boys!? The question I like the most is where did that wall come from?? Pete is very professional, prompt, and efficient and a real pleasant person, but I think all the stars lined up in the correct position for this project to come together, anyhow! As we are not planning to complete the project until the Spring, PK Masonry is getting quotes for the job. We will be in contact with him closer to the time we want the job done. He was extremely helpful in guiding us as to what could and could not be done.

Pete was exactly what one would expect from an honest professional who is interested in doing the job right and proud of his art. Pete responded to my e-mail inquiries promptly, Visited my home twice to come up with an approach to repair and redo work that a previous contractor botched up. We agreed on a price and Pete was on the job when he said he would be and cleaned up when he was done. His initial recommendation, which is probably the correct one, was a bit steep because of the complexity of the job (build support under front porch foundation) but could not bring ourselves to accept because of financial considerations. Pete performed the masonry work to my satisfaction. I wish Pete was available when my house was built (all brick) and I would venture to say that I would not have needed "corrective surgery." The wife and I found Pete personable and a pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend him.

Pete Krivanek repaired brick on the side of our house which has detached due to settlement of the slab. It was a big job and required installation of four helical piers. Pete's work was exceptional. He is very professional and highly reliable. I would use him again and certainly recommend him.

Pete was great. He was very responsive and came over to give us an estimate on work quickly. His estimate was right on, his work was perfect.

It went flawlessly! Pete was on time, did beautiful work, with great attention to detail and then cleared up after himself. He stayed within the estimate he quoted, and was great to work with. We will call him , if we ever need a skilled mason again.

We have used several concrete masons in our area, as well as some from Atlanta. Pete is by far the best. He arrived when he said he would, kept the area where he was working clean and completed the job when he said it would be completed. He even found some caps for the wall that were nicer than we were hoping for (at no additional cost). His work ethics are impeccable and the wall he built is perfect. His prices are very reasonable and Pete is a true example of a professional. We definitely will use Pete in the future for any concrete work we need done.

Their was nothing negative about our experience. He was always on time, and easy to get along with. Everyday he cleaned up after himself. He was always very willing to give me straight forward answers to any of my questions. I highly recommend him to anyone.
