+ -1 moreNice young man arrived promptly at appointed time. We talked about the work that needed to be done but he did not spend much time inspecting the actual work area that needed to be addressed. He promised a quote for the work within 3days but gave us a ball park estimate of 35 a 40k ... becuase this was in line with the other estimate we had we told him okay to send us the details. henever got back to us. I followed up three times over the following week. Each time he was surprised we had not gotten the estimate yet and promised to follow up on it. The fourth phone call simply went unanswered. So the trip out to the house was "free" but since I never got the estimate ... It wasn't even worth that as he wasted my time.

+ -1 moreWhen a roof leak is reported, Quality Works is very quick to respond by covering with tarps until we schedule the roof replacement to be done. Craig, the owner, is great to work with. He explains what needs to be done, how long it will take and what type materials he will be using. His has a very hard working crew who are always courteous. They worked in pouring rain to finish the installation on a roof last month. They always leave the surrounding area in clean condition, After receiving quotes from other companies, we found Quality Works to be very competitive.
Description of Work: The work performed by Quality Works was at our condominium property. They have been replacing condo roofs for us over the last two years.

+ -1 moreThere are three letters to describe this company, and they are WOW! Not only was the owner hands-on throughout the entire process, he ensured any subcontractors that he used, since he was our General Contractor, met his high standards. Because of the work he did for us, one person used him for erosion control and another to remodel their bathroom. I personnally think this company is fairly priced, has high standards, and places customer satisfaction as their main goal. Great Job!
Description of Work: As our General Contractor, Quality Works did three major projects for our house, they were erosion control, rebuilding the front porch, installing new iron railings, and some other minor work such as cleaning gutters, painting some trim, and restaining our back door.

+ 1 moreOur home had roofing damage due to improper rain drainage. Jonathan Browning gave an honest estimate on repairing the problem areas and also fixed some framing around the front door window. His team from Quality Works spent Thursday and Friday fixing the roof and even came back on Saturday to finish and clean up. They were very contentious with their work and everything looks as good as new! I am impressed enough to invite Jonathan to come back and give me a quote on painting the trim on our home and pool house.
Description of Work: The roof was buckling due to improper drainage in a couple of areas underneath the eaves. The trim was also warping in the front of the house due to the same problem. They fixed everything perfectly, on time and on budget!

+ 7 moreI would give them an AAA++. We were very satisfied with them. All the subs they had working for them were excellent and timely. His word was his word and there was a great connection. We were able to talk about things. We are pleased with Angie's List also. I liked the attitude of the Craig Collins, who was the contractor for Quality Works and he would point out things to us that needed work. He was also very good about coming out to check on everyone. They knew what I wanted and what I expected.
Description of Work: Quality Works Management finished up a project for us on Friday. They put in granite counter-tops, backslash, they changed the knobs on the cabinets, they put up lights, they did hardwood floors in three rooms, they put carpeting upstairs, they painted. It was quite a project.

+ 7 moreThey were very easy to work with. They really took into consideration our requirements and needs. Their engineering staff worked with the challenges we had in adding on to our home. We are extremely happy with the final product.
Description of Work: They expanded our kitchen. They installed a bay window in our kitchen area too. We added a new master bedroom with closets. We also added a sunroom to our house. They also added an alcove over the entrance to our garage. Because of the great work done in our new sunroom I chose not to have them renovate my man room upstairs.

+ 1 moreThe issue arose when the rep explained that he needed his boss to come out to give us a better estimate as he was a better resource and ultimately would be the one doing the work. I left 2 messages for the rep to no avail and finally got a response call when I called the main office number. He gave me a lack luster excuse claiming that he was waiting for a opening in his and his boss's schedule on the weekend before he called me back (no excuse for not returning 2 of my calls). Because my mother was eager to get a price and work started I rearranged my schedule and drove during the weekday from Alpharetta to McDonough to meet them at 6:PM. I called the previous night to confirm (no answer) I got there at 6:30PM and called to confirm (no answer) I finally got a CB at 7:30 PM for a 6:30 appointment claiming he could not get a hold of his boss and did not know when he would be able to. We never got an estimate nor the common courtesy of a return call on time. Not to mention they stood us up. Maybe the job was not on a large enough scale but in any business if you do not have an interest you tell the prospect just that. Tremendous waste of time. If this is how they are before a job is started I can imagine how they are on the job. Would not recommend this company.
Description of Work: No services were performed. A representative for the company came by and gave my mother (the owner of the home) a "rough estimate of 5K to remodel a bad job down on a indoor porch extension.

+ 6 moreThe remodel went very well. Craig and his crew are fantastic and very accomodating. Customer service is #1 with them and we would highly recommend them to anyone. You absolutely would not go wrong hiring them to do any work.
Description of Work: We met with Craig prior to closing on our home and discussed what our vision of the remodel would be. Craig presented several ideas to us that was exactly what we have envisioned and even beyond. We presented him with some particular challenges that needed to be met an example being the installation of two doggie doors, one on the main level which had to be installed through an exterior wall and had to have a platform added onto the upper deck and secured from below for the dogs to exit onto and the second door was installed on the terrace level out to the pool area. His crew did a fantastic handling that job. The entire house was repainted after repairing virtually all ceilings where the tape had come lose. The fireplace mantel in the great room was completely redesigned by Craig to extend to the top of the high windows and was wired for the flat screen TV with surround sound. The kitchen counters were removed and replaced with granite and Craig designed a coordinating tile backsplash that is beautiful. He also replaced all the tile in the masterbath and redesigned the shower. By the time the remodel was complete, Craig and his crew had also installed a new fountain outside the front door and re-landscaped the entrance area to make it much more attractive. It is beautiful and we get many compliments on what was done. This job took several months to complete and we were then and continue to be very happy with their work. We are in the process of starting plans with Quality Works to updating four bathrooms.

Mr. Craig Collins the owner is amazing, nicest roofer/contractor and as a person! His approach to finding problems is second to none. He's not there to "sell you a complete roof replacement", and make a quick buck. Rather, he truly believes in quality and does the work to our complete satisfaction. He will be my roofer and contractor as long as I own a home and I will definitely be referring Quality Works to all my friends and family. Thanks so much Quality Works. + 2 moreConsidering all the work that was done, I would say it went very smoothly. I had a roof leak in the master bath and damaged gutters from a recent storm. Kim met the insurance adjuster at my home and did a very thorough examination of the damage. The adjuster agreed with Kim's assessment replacing the roof, repairing the bathroom ceiling, and replacing the damaged gutters. Kim's company handled everything and the entire job from start to finish was done in one week.
