Angie's promotional inspection was cursory, only addressing issues I pointed out. The promotion implied a thorough inspection of the roof. Follow up work of $200 to $2,000 was proposed. I elected to not do the work.

Guy was able to locate a handful of cracked seals that was causing water to leak into my attic.

This company is the most disorganized as well as the most unprofessional. It took them 2 weeks just to fulfill the job. We agreed on a date and time for them to do the job but when they showed up they did not have a tall enough ladder. After that we had to call them twice to reschedule. They finally showed up 2 weeks later. When they were done they left all the debris at the sides of the house. It rained a few days ago and my gutters are still overflowing over the sides. I really would like my money back! Horrible! Stay clear of this esablishment!

Great. This was a very small job and that is usually very hard to get service for. Magnum gave me a couple of day window for getting it done and did it quickly and correctly.

I was very pleased with Magnum Gutters and the customer service they provided. I had two sections of gutters that were regularly overflowing anytime it rained. I submitted a request for an inspection/estimate through Angie's list. I head back from Malcolm within 24 hours and we had the estimate scheduled. I can't remember the guy's name who did the inspection, but he was very prompt and courteous. I was happy with the estimate and went ahead and scheduled the service to replace the gutters. This is where I was impressed the most. There was pretty heavy rains the day before the service was scheduled to occur (2/3). Malcolm called me to let me know that they were running behind due to the weather and asked if they could reschedule the service to 2/4. I've had a lot of experiences recently where repairmen will schedule a service and never show up or call to let me know they're not coming. It was refreshing to have someone actually call and provide customer service. The crew showed up on 2/4 to work as promised. They were courteous, professional, and quiet enough that they didn't disturb my 1 year old even though they were working just outside his window. They finished all of their work in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend Magnum Gutters to anyone.

Gutters are good quality, although part of a gutter in the rear of the house is loose and needs to be secured. Overall, satisfied with the work, but the price was much higher than on Angie's list. Advertised price was $695.00 for gutters and down spouts on a 2500 sq ft house. My house is 2650 sq ft and the cost was $995.00 without the down spouts.

UPDATE: The owner of Magnum Gutters called to clarify the miscommunication with my installation. Magnum Gutters was severely busy from the torrential downpours that we have had over the last month. There is only one person to answer the phones, so they were definitely not screening my calls. I usually have a pretty good sense of when someone is dishonest, and Magnum Gutters was not. They explained the issue with the repair that I had to have done, and any issues with Magnum that were legitimate on their part were addressed. I was thoroughly impressed with the phone call that I just had, and believe that all of my concerns were addressed. I should have stressed the importance of the specific repair that I needed more to Magnum, so I was wrong on that part. I believe that I would work with them in the future. They listened to my concerns and took them to heart. I really appreciated that. They took my business seriously. My original review: Magnum was quick to respond to my request for a free estimate. It was scheduled quickly even in light of the recent rains that we had. The installation was scheduled quickly, and the team arrived on time. The work was done well and quickly, and the staff was extremely courteous. The biggest issue I had with the company was communication. I asked for the installer to call me when they arrived at my home the day of installation. They never called. I had an issue with one of the gutters leaking onto my house. The response was very slow, and I had to contact them multiple times to receive a response. I'm not accusing them of screening calls, but no one ever picked up the phone when I called, so I always had to leave a message and have my call returned at a later time. This was extremely frustrating because I needed answers to my questions quickly, and it sometimes took hours to get a call back. To have the repair scheduled took days, and I had to contact them to ask questions like, "What was wrong?" and "When can you come back?" I had to ask them repeatedly when they would come, and it took them days to figure out what it was. Then I had to ask numerous times when they were coming. Contact was never initiated on their part which is extremely frustrating when it's constantly raining and you don't want water running down the side of your house. I felt left in the dark. I will need my roof installed in the very near future, and I will not use Magnum for that job. It was sad to see the status of the job start out so well and then plummet so quickly. The job was done so well, but the communication killed it for me.
