I am a residential real estate appraiser in my 31st year of practice.I cover much of NE Metro Atlanta & surrounding counties. I still complete assignments for lenders however, the majority of my assigments are for private parties. After vacationing on Lake Hartwell for several summers, my family made the move to full-time lake living in the spring of 1996 and never looked back! Within months of making our move, I followed with another life changing decision. At the age of 36, I left my comfortable life as a stay-at-home mom and entered real estate. To others, it may have appeared that I had everything working against me - I had been out of the workforce for years, I had a lack of local knowledge, and I certainly didn't know my way around the lake yet.
