Wirks Moving and Storage

Wirks did a great job moving us from the Atlanta area to South Carolina! They gave us personal attention that the larger, national companies may not be able to provide. They also stored our furniture and other belongings for several months while our house was being renovated. We experienced minimal damage, but Wirks reimbursed us per their policy. We recommend Wirks without reservation! They are pros.

They showed up on time and completed the move in the time estimated. However, do NOT use this company if you have a Sleep Number bed to be moved. I specifically asked the man who came to give me an estimate if they moved Sleep Number beds and he said they did it frequently. However, when I realized something was wrong with my bed, I call Sleep Number and they sent out two techs to look at the bed. They were aghast to see that the Wirks movers had RIPPED the mattress from the foundation instead of taking it apart properly. I filed a claim and it was paid.

The movers were prompt and professional. Nothing was broken and all the furniture was put together upon delivery.

Works team did a tough move for us right after a snowstorm. Very professional and careful.

They did a good job. Movers were nice. Had a few issues that they did not resolve like hook up of Dryer and safety latches on dressers that could fall. Damaged one piece of furniture.

We called Wirks Moving and Storage to obtain a free estimate of the cost for our local move in Atlanta, GA. We received a firm quote detailing all the charges that would apply. We also received suggestions on how to pack our household goods and how best to prepare for our move. On moving day, we met the moving men that would load and unload the truck. The men were courteous, very careful with our household goods and extremely efficient throughout each phase of the move. They completed the entire move faster than anticipated all with pleasant good humor and patience. We are very pleased with Wirks Moving and Storage and the outstanding efforts by their employees to make our move worry free.

Exceptional! 6 guys and two trucks. They were punctual (actually early). Took extreme care with my expensive immensely heavy furniture. Worked non stop. Best crew ever! They are the ONLY ones I will ever consider using again! Packed, moved and unpacked in one day. Put all my beds together and cleaned up after themselves. If you want a hassle free and trustworthy company, then Wirks Moving is the only way to go!

The mover's were punctual. They worked hard all day. Some things did get broken but using the companies insurance they paid the total amount to have the items fixed and they settled the claim quickly.

They were really great! There were on time they did what I requested for them to do. Any little problem that came up during the move they took care of it and addressed it.
