 + -1 moreOprah says Wallpaper is back! I decided to try someone, who had just moved here and I had the good to luck to find a third generation wallpaper guy who also paints AND solves problems. I papered a powder room with grasscloth paper (the hardest kind, I think). I had purchased an elegant glass sink top that turned out to be one inch longer than the room. He notched and then repaired the wall. No extra charge, no criticism. Next he painted my kitchen including cabinets in a tricky combination of trim colors. He was great to work with, helped me pick colors and was patient with several changes of my mind.
Description of Work: Harry helped me choose colors and patterns to re-do the powder room and kitchen in my 50 year old brick ranch house. Working with a magazine picture I had seen of a large bedroom, he combined the colors and look I wanted perfectly. He papered the powder room with grasscloth paper, installed the sink top (not the plumbing) and painted the cabinet and woodwork. Then he painted my kitchen including my cabinets, making that small room appear much larger and still capturing my wish for a "retro" kitchen. Despite problems usual to old houses and several changes I made mid-project, he finished within his original estimate. I have two bedrooms in the planning stage now and when I'm ready, I wouldn't hire anyone else.
